She's using a flat iron for one quick press on the tapes, then using a plier like compression tool made especially for pressing tape ins together for maximum adhesion.

I know I asked this before probably but how you take the tape ins out? Will it pull out your hair?
She uses a solution that you just saturate the extensions and they slide off of your hair. Not damaging if you use solution.
