She has thin hair and I think the tension from the clip ins when you curl it pulls her hair follicles that’s why she’s holding it. I don’t think it’s because she’s extra tender headed. It came out beautiful per usual and this was really relaxing to watch.

@Barbara Von Traumer hair clips can cause tension if pulled even if just to flat iron.
She already has a beautiful head of hair, but the added fullness with the clip-ins took it to a whole new level. Very pretty.

Yes they will slide. I wear them often to make my hair appear thicker. The same length as my hair and they will slide if I do not tease my roots. Whether blow dried or straightened.

She’s in Atl, our hair salons were only closed from like Apr to May. Which sucks for any employed person, but it’s not nearly as bad as other states. lol

This is the texture of my hair when its straight ( but its super thick) and I wear clip ins as well. She appears to holding them to keep them from slipping out and pulling on her real hair while the stylist is pulling with the flat iron... back comb the root a bit, spray with hairspray and then apply the clip ins or twist a bit of hair and attach each clip and they wont slide.. I precurl my extensions before clipping them in
A) some people real life tender headed and anything can feel like it’s hurting there scalp
B) she dosen’t want her hair pulled while your curling her hair with the extensions

Thats what I was thinking, some stylist don't understand that some heads/scalps are more sensitive than others and I don't like tugging and tension either!

The same reason people hold the braid when getting their hair done, it’s to keep from losing hair possibly causing alopecia from tension.
I love watching women getting their hair combed. It looks soooo soothing to me. If I had her hair, i would want my hair played and combed in all of the time 🙃
