I love tape-ins! So as a professional we don’t conditioner or apply product prior to application because any oil in between the tapes will cause the tapes to fall out a lot faster. You should be able to wear the tape ins for 4 months before they need to be removed and moved up. If the tape in is comprised you may be lucky to get a month of that out of wear! So just make sure you take the proper prep steps to application!
Thank you very much for the info🙏🏼🙏🏼 in between those four months am I allowed to wash my hair with the tape ins ? Cauz I am scared the glue might come off and the tape ins won't therefore stay longer
I use clip ins now, but if these last 4 months I’m going for it, I have to get up for work at 5am I have no energy to do my hair and I’m always looking for a solution. I’m gonna try it.
I’m not about to try with this because I’m not that talented but you killed it!!! It came out SO good! And seeing your hair after you flat ironed it has me TOO excited to get my hair flat ironed and trimmed on Friday. It looks sooo healthy and nice! 🤩🤩🤩
I’m so over frontal and wigs. 🥺 I am.. it’s nice every once and a while. But I want to go back to braids and wearing our hair! Even if we want to add in clip ins or extensions 💕
I found this video the day my new tape ins came. I have shorter thin hair and don’t really need 2 full packs but I lose some over time so it’s nice to have the extra pieces. I just started doing it to my own hair in April and everything you said in the video is 💯 how it goes 👌👌👌 it’s def a learning process and every time you install you/they get a little better every time and they will be staying in longer once you get it figured out. Literally the hardest part is getting your sandwich’s lined up perfectly 😅
I ended up doing both methods once I got closer to the top! 😉💕 I switch depending on where I am on my head/if I can see or not 😂😂 thanks so much for watching beautiful!! ♥️
Beautiful tape-in installation. I may try out tape in for the first time. I know it’s not as easy as it looks but I will give it a try. I have never heard of the In Common Magic Mist. I ordered a bottle through your Amazon link and I hopes it works well for my fine hair as well. Thanks for all of the hair tips as it was extremely helpful!
This vid is right on time! I have very fine hair and I notice that clip ins rip my hair out, but I've been thinking of doing tape ins on myself instead.
I’m so happy you found this video helpful!! Listen, I love me some clip ins but YES they’re not always fine hair friendly 😭😩 Definitely give these a try - lightweight and you can barely feel em! 💃🏾💕
@@Jakia clip ins are the least damaging option for temporary extensions. Tape ins are adhered to the root as you observed. It’s semi permanent. You must use a separate technique to remove them. If clipins are ripping your hair out- tape ins may be worst. I have tried tape ins and micro links. I wear clips weekly.
@@SweetUareDesi but if I’m gonna be constantly putting the clip ins in everyday wouldn’t it make more sense to have a more permanent option? Because my hair is fine, the clips constantly snapping on my hair is what’s ripping it out
Love the video and you are gorgeous! I am soo nervous about trying tape-ins and looking forward to try it. I know my first row will be an eek. What brand of the flat iron did you use? I think you did a great job. Needed this motivation.
I’ll be trying this. Thank you for this tutorial. I order clip ins from them before but they are too heavy for my hair once I flat iron it. really hurts my scalp 😕
I discovered your channel this evening and have been bingeing for about an hour now 😂 suffice to say, I enjoy your content. Random question, where is your bracelet from in this video? It's so pretty!
Hahah it was definitely a trying process at first but it got easier the more I applied them. 😂🙌🏾 wishing you all the best, and remember not to tape too close to your root/scalp!!

How did these hold up? I am considering doing this myself for my upcoming vacation, but I am nervous about the extensions falling out while I'm out and about, LOL.
Thank you so much Sasha!! 💕 I think in this video I only used my Denman brush (you can purchase at Sally Beauty or Target) but I also love the Insert Name Here “Never Knotty” brush for all my extensions!! 💕💕
They do have mirrors online where you can see the sides and the back of your hair I seen one girl with it to make it better how long can they stay in you are here you can't wash them or you have to put dry shampoo on it
My toxic trait is I think I can do this
You can babe ❤ you just have to be patient and consistent from start to finish
Lmao me calling my mom rn to let me do it to her hair first 😂🫣

So does tape leave glue on your hair?
How would you suggest touching up the new growth with tape ins? Please
4 months I’m sold? I can do this myself
Hands down. Gorgeous! The hair and the content creator. 🙌🏽

Seriously I can’t do this frontal’s glue gel (somewhat) but it’s the irritation on my forehead

What type of flat iron do you use and on what setting/temp?
Thanks for your tutorial. What's the name of the flat iron?
I loveeee this look! did you feel like your tape ins got loser after time because of you didn't use the little tape in smashing tool?
beautifulllll, what straightener did you use?
Did the curls hold during the weeks you wore it?
Do you recommend using some heat to the glue line on tape ins as well ?
I really enjoyed your wig video
