Jeyzus!! This takes me back, Tyburn House, Thursday nights.. (Hodge Hill, Hunters Moon too) mid 80's. Weren't Joy & Erica the beautiful ladies up front back then. Used to love "The chain" and "Blinded by the light". Damn, nice going down memory lane, Judy Tzuke there's a name just popped into my head any remember the beautiful woman with the oh so smokey voice that hypnotised everyone she sang for. God where has the time gone.
Saw them last week at the Mackworth what a night.Have'nt seen them live since 77 they are just as good as I remember.Even played this for us.Magic band,magic night.
@sarven10 My husband (John Storer) was lead guitar on 'The Stripper' recording, they had 'Powerplay - on the hour every hour' on Radio Luxembourg for a week.......Quill are still great - and John is still playing in and around the Midlands! Your'e right they should bring the old songs back - we still have the original vinyl!

See them play in Birminghams Bull Ring (old Bull Ring) They done a Promotiomal for *Tandys Electrical Store,Think it was in the Early70s ,Great Group should have made it Big Time
First fell in love with this band and this songs in the 1980s at the tyburn house .followed them ever since.secret crush on joy ❤
Watched them regularly on Tuesday nights at the Hunters Moon pub in seventies /eighties excellent local band still going strong !!!
Me too, Their versions of East of Eden's "Jig a Jig" and MTH "All the young dudes" were Awesome.

I too used to see Quill regularly at the Hunters Moon. I was there on my 40th birthday.... 20 years ago. Brilliant live band.
