Unique LED flasher HeliFlash - The non contact Helicopter LED flasher

Make an LED flash in a crazy way! An idea from ‪@theelectronicschannel‬
My very first effort at the CZcams thing so please be kind.
The audio ticking throughout the video is from a Chinese diesel heater BTW sorry about that, but its cold this time of year.
Please comment on absolutely anything related good or bad.

The blades of the Helicopter break a slot sensor, which switches a BC547. The BC547 pulses the count input of a 4017 and the LED is flashed from bit 9 of the counter. I dis add a second socket for another 4017 just in case the frequency was too high, but i was happy with one.

You could revisit the project and add a RPM counter. A small microcontroller would do the trick... ATtiny85, or Arduino.

Hi, I am not sure if I still have it. Could well have been recycled
