I have a question. I want to buy a rick Owen's champion jason zip up hoodie but they dont have my size in the mens collection. I see a size xxl in women collection do you think it's worth it to purchase the women's as a male.

One of the best Rick Owens channel here in YT! 🖤 I think going back to Rick’s roots on how he polished genderless, unisex, fluidity in fashion are reason for men to explore the womens! My partner has the same predicament that the mens Rick has lesser options. The only issue would be size if you’re more of a bigger built which you have pointed in the video 👍🏼

Good idea. I don’t own any either and I’ve never worn tank tops. But I’ve been eying some Rick tanks lately, anyway. I’ll see if I can find some at a good price and do a video when it’s really hot in July or August 👍
A few other designers: Damir Doma, Robert Geller, Loro Piana, Billy Reid, Helmut Lang. But not too much brand variety. I tend to go deep rather than broad when it comes to my interests.

Wanted to get back to you before sale season ended. You should try the rick ribbed tank. I bought 2 ribbed tanks and 1 anthem tank. One of the ribbed tanks is a large, one is a medium, and the anthem tank is a large. They all fit well, even the length. They find their own hem length just below the hips where they bunch up in a not-displeasing way. I’m still going to make a video. But I hope this is helpful in the meantime. 🤜✨🤛
Great video, I am particularly really grateful for that insight about the double vs single seam on the dropped crotch. I’m a much bigger fan of Haiders dropped crotch stuff than Ricks (on myself, not necessarily in general) and that comment helped explain why. The double seam creates that extra flap of fabric in the back that isn’t present on single seam stuff (like Haider Perths). Thank you for the video, excited for more :)
@@clyff6ix401 I’d definitely recommend you look into him some! If you’re a big fan of Rick’s color palette, a lot of the earlier Haider runways (pre 2016 or so) use similar colors
Is there a way of softening that rough cotton Rick uses, they’re noisy when I walk and kind of stiff, lmk if anyone has a good way of softening! Love the vids btw! Had to watch all your vids in one sitting haha keep it up 🙏🏻

I don’t think so. A women’s large might fit a men’s small. Rick’s women’s (and most men’s) jackets tend to run slim. That said, it depends on the cut. You could try comparing sizing measurements on men’s and women’s rick stuff on SSENSE. They post measurements
Great question. The margin for error is very generous when it comes to sizing on the elastic waist pieces. A US dress size 4 is an Italian 40. A US dress size 6 is an Italian 42 and so on. By that logic, my RO men’s pants and shorts in a 46 (dress size US 10) should be much bigger. But they are not. On some pieces, they are actually smaller. I’m a 30-32” and anything above a Medium or a US dress size 4 fits fine with elasticized waists. But I probably wouldn’t go up to a women’s 12. I don’t have any experience with the women’s not-elastic clothes though. Hope this helps 👍
