- John Shannon makes his weekly appearance as well and talks about the winding road of Garland as a Canuck, and the team’s efforts to hold back Edmonton for the Pacific Division title. Plus, John’s informed opinion on the fate of the Coyotes and Salt Lake’s bold venture of naming an NHL franchise that they don’t even have.

Hey guys. I got a great poll question. Who would you rather meet in the final. Leafs, Rangers or Bruins?
Conor Garland has been playing this way the whole time he’s been in Vancouver. He hasn’t had the right linemates a lot of the time, and he hasn’t always produced, but he’s been pretty consistent with the core elements of his game. Those include playmaking, skating hard, great play along the boards, feistiness, and of course shots from sharp angles.
He hasn't really changed the way he's played, just been more productive with his reads
Refs are brutal 5 penalties on Vancouver in the first 2 minutes of last 5 games
The solution to that is not break the rules.
Yes, Vancouver fans can be really fickle but are very passionate. The Canucks tried unsuccessfully to trade Boeser and Garland up to the point that they gave permission to both their respective agents to seek a trade out of Vancouver. Last year this time there were some fans that wanted to trade Miller for pennies on the dollar before his no movement clause started with new 8 year extension on July 1, 2023. Imagine this team now without these 3?
Garland has said that was a fake rumour, he claims he never asked out once
Could still visit the trade market regarding both players this off-season, especially Boeser only one year away from UFA
@@user-by3nd4rm6cBB is 1 of only 10 Vancouver Canucks to ever score 40 goals in a season.
Only the Management was happy when Miller signed that contract, now we are f'ing thrilled, but nobody, nobody saw this coming. The Kings really only got the 1-3-1 when there is a line change, otherwise not so much.
I saw it coming. He's way better than Bo
@@johnnybaxter1953 significantly. Not to take away from Bo. Good player. But, one or the other right?
At the beginning of this podcast, they say "they say they don't have to be firing on all cyclinders" just 2 out of 4 games 😂😂😂 dude that's 500. Hockey that's what they have been doing for a while. So with that you should be happy with the performance.
They’re building a rink in Salt Lake now. That would indicate an NHL rink is coming and Sasquatch is the name
If the Coyotes move to Salt Lake City please change the name. As some wise guy exclaimed when the NBA moved from New Orleans; "I refuse to believe that the Jazz can win the title in Utah until somebody shows me documented proof that Dizzy Gillespie was born in Salt Lake."
Stop with the Connor Garland did not want to be there nonsense. Not true. He told IMac early in the season that he did not want to leave , it was the team looking to move his contract. Fact
the Utah Mormons
