I like Brady a lot, but Petey is just in a rut. He will eventually bounce back.
In time for the rest of this year? Maybe not. But he will eventually-- he's too good.
I'm frustrated with him as well at the moment, but it doesn't exemplify the entire body of his career thus far.
If this continues significntly past this year, then you need to start asking whether he's worth it or not.
You guys are smoking crack if you think Lindholm or ANYONE is just going to magically kick start Pettersson's game. What you're seeing is high functioning depression. He's cooked.
You are spot on! Watching his interview yesterday, my first thought was "This guy is depressed".
@@VansHalham It's obvious. Has nothing to do with anything hockey related. He's physically fine. It's not his linemates. Right now for Pettersson everything feels heavy. There's a fog he can't shake. These things linger for months, sometimes years.

The players need to move AND the puck needs to be moved faster. But I also see that Edmonton brings all four PKers up to the blue line because they know we will only try to carry it in. We need some soft dumps into the corner and then go chase it with speed.
