I'd probably still include a one off Mahad. He works either as a 5k beatstick against dark monsters, or as discard/link fodder that can later boost the draw amount of soul servant. Kind of like a less useful Dark Magician Girl. Less useful, 'cause he has less synergy, but he can also be used for rank 7 XYZ plays, instead of the superpoly engine (including targets in the extra deck).
on paper you are right ,but in MD code that "shuffles" your cards is broken when you have more than 4 singles. I get him in my first draw every time .
@@o.k.2254 If I get him in my starting hand, I usually try to either use him as discard cost, for something like apprentive illusion magician; as fusion material; or as the card to put back on the top of the deck after searching something with the ritual monster searcher, whatever it's name was. Chaos something.
Dunno about the broken shuffle with more than 4 singles, I run like 6-7 singles in my DM deck. Including both monsters and spells.
Glad to know I’m not the only who thinks Mahad should be a one of in the deck and I agree with you trying to use him as a discard cost or put him on top of the deck with illusion for a follow up on the next turn when you draw into him. And then of course, the draw power with soul servant and the XYZ summons.
Around 9:25-9:35, nice play going into The Dark Magicians when Eternal Soul was about to get destroyed to get DMG out for the follow up on your next turn with Soul Servant👏🏽 I would’ve done the same thing.

In the first duel you should use the Secret first, and then you can use Circle - which will trigger the Dark's Magician to draw a free card
He made a lot of misplays in this video
i wanted to make an extra attack with it
@@mrklauss yep but you can summon him with 2 materials from your hand, then it still be 1k6 + 2k8 dmg. Also, I don't think 1 more attack from Rod will be much value as draw a card. Or maybe it just myself opinion
They could've also used Magician's Salvation during the main phase 2 after The Dark Magician's already been summoned to get the extra draw after it has set Eternal Soul on the field.
Piercing the Darkness also works well with The Dark Magicians and Eternal Souls ♥️

0:45 if you hadn't played the field spell first and instead doing it in main phase 2 after attacking with The Dark Magician, would it have triggered it's effects to give you a free draw after it sets Eternal Soul? Was that a misplay and missing out on a free draw? I thought The Dark Magicians effects can be activated whenever a spell or trap is activated during either players turn.
yeah that was a misplay, it would activate on esch players turn, but only once. im a dark magician user too!

I'm trying to run a burn deck and this is one of the few that I have a tough time against. Does the deck break if the back row is cleaned?
you could have a hard time but you can rebuild it real quick
Yeah the combination of eternal soul and dark magic circle are tough to beat
Why the monster didnt get destroy when eternal soul is remove from the field?
You shouldve fused first , then played circle , to get a free draw off of Dark Magicians
In that first duel, I would've made The Dark Magicians and then activated dark magical circle so I could get that extra card. A good dark magician deck can go through half the deck in 1 turn.

It looks like a classic Dark Magician deck to me... In fact, I wonder why you don't use a branded engine to easily get Mirrorjade or DM Dragon Knight out when needed.

Avramax only increase ATK if it battles with Special Summon Monster, Magician's Rod is normal summoned in this situation

that one was one of my smartest plays on master duel not gonna lie
in the first duel when the oppo shuffles eternal soul in your deck, why you get to keep your board? eternal soul states that when it leaves the field, it destroys all monsters you control
If I remember well, an effect that activates when a card leaves the field only do so when the card leaves the field and goes to the grave, is banished or goes back to the hand. It doesn't activate if it goes to the deck.
The effects of when a card leaves the field will be activated only from the hand, GY, banished face-up and returned to the Extra Deck face-up. It won't be activated if banished face-down, returned to the Deck, returned to the Extra Deck face-down or attached to a Xyz monster. Also note that it also doesn't activate if the card leaves the field and in the same chain it moves somewhere else

no its because viewers can understand how the deck works in every situation and then if he likes he can have the decklist at the end of the video and if he doesnt he can quit the video and thats it i dont get my view and the viewer doesnt waste his time.

i'm not surprised, as a DM player i'm very anger seeing dragoon still banned when cancer decks break the game, did you noted cards such as verte anaconda, tearlaments kitkallos, spright elf and zoodiac drident are literally banned everywhere except here in master duel? MD's banlist is the worst of all

@Papa_Slim His deck is not built for "M Combo" to use consistently.
He'll need his deck to center around making "The Dark Magicians" more often.
