I have been a fan of BTEC for a while now. Random older videos pop-up and they are always a treat! At the end of this video I actually spewed coffee everywhere! When Von casually stated 'I think I just ate a bug' it was epic! I was NOT expecting that so it was doubly extra. Made my day. I broke a bone in my shoulder (predominant side of course), nine days ago and humor has been elusive. This was awesome! Von is a true treasure.

For those that want to just play around with learning a bunch of techniques and not spend money on new stuff, go to thrift stores! Buy up all the jewelry that has bits and pieces that you like. Take them apart and practice!

I really enjoyed your tutorial. Thank you for covering the "basics", but also showing why you wouldn't want to do it another way, in a succinct and concise manner. Lots of other tutorial videos spend 10 hrs showing you "their" way, but don't really show WHY you should/would want to do it that way. Humans get bored easily. I know I do. I will skip to the next tutorial video asap if it's an hour long and doesn't really TEACH you anything! You kept me engaged and actually taught me things about wire jewelry making. Thank you!

I am going to become a patreon because she deserves to be supported. Such a nice couple and they are so open to help you learn or you can just buy directly off their etsy shop. I like that a lot.

  • @natashagreen-chillaxedprod7769

That looks so pretty, sorry in advance for such a long comment,
    I just rambled on.
I’d do it in pink and blue for memory of my son and daughter I lost as a sign of ever lasting love, I have 2 boys 9&14yrs old and a bracelet is less painful then a tattoo, even though I have a blue heart with a keyhole with 3 keys dangling off it with my Boys and hubby’s name next to each key in the middle of my shoulder blades. I make and sell the safest Candles and Melts in the country plus various 100% Natural Body Products And I thought of making my own jewellery and putting it my Candles for Cancer Event I have twice a year as iv just finished being in remission for the past 2yrs as I had cervical cancer stage 3 twice in last 7yrs, so praying it doesn’t come back for the 3rd time. But thank you very much and iv got my own CZcams channel and since my new shed is finally built I can design a workshop plus section off a part for customers to Come See, Feel, Smell & Buy that will have Display units also made by myself, on my liners Birthdays I send a Cake slice soap in their favourite cake style with a birthday duck on top plus they get to see me make products to, I use only Stephenson Range that is SLES Free, SLS Free, Lye Free, Paraben Free, Palm Oil Free & Detergent Free soap bases but I still add butters, carrier oils, fragrance blends and setting up my patreon Account Up once iv finished setting up my Studio.
🦋 My Facebook and Instagram is facebook.com/chillaxingmelts34 and #chillaxing_melts35
🦋 I’m very crafty, as iv finished my sons galaxy themed room and walls painting it midnight blue with a bit of white blended into some areas, and a Milky Way around his light and painting planets, rockets, shooting stars, moons, meteors all on my own adding a bit of pink, yellow, purple and red to some planets and painting most of it in glow paint that is activated everyday by sunlight and while that was drying I started my eldest room them and he want offset Geometrical triangles accents in rainbow but because of his Aspergers the colours need to be in order and blend in together with white lines from where the tape is he wants them to glow, so should be fun.
🦋 I used to make jewellery years ago as my crafty mother inlaw bought me a book on how to make so many different items so I still have all the tools plus heaps of shells, beads, wire, etc, I guess I kept them all just incase.
🦋 I made a long canvas with a red head and a keyhole with chandelier beads hanging down as mine and hubby’s room is themed Romantic and I made our dinning table from different grains and coloured reclaimed wood to make it look beachy and our lounge room theme is country beach so it has a coffee table and tv unit in the same wood as the kitchen oh and our kitchen is treated dark wood flooring, white cupboards and black bench top.
🦋 We’ve just bought our first home outright so as I’m the crafty one iv been busy.

Thanks for this tutorial! I'm a true beginner to the whole making jewelry thing, so I appreciate the "finish" part (like how to do clasps) as well as doing the other part. If you're looking for ideas for future videos, I would love for you to do one on different beads. As in the shapes, sizes, glass vs gemstones. Yes, I'm that ignorant of the subject, and I'd love to learn. :o) Oh, and chains. When is it better to use a store-bought chain and when is it more cost/time effective to make your own? What's the best kind of chain to use? Just the finishing touches that take something from meh to yay. Thanks again! Love your stuff!

I've been purchasing sterling filled, an it tarnishes so bad it's a waste of time, an money, help, help in getting these things cleaned. Also, there is a bracelet I would love to do, it's called floating Crystal's by potamic bead I cannot learn from the Instructure, Elly, she goes to fast, an her hands are in front of the camera, can you help me with that one.
