    I spent ages trying to find out how to use the Vallejo crackle medium and this video is exactly how in depth I wanted. Cheers man, you've earned the sub from me!
    Also, great work on the bases themselves, the color selections are beautiful

    Awesome vid, thanx! Was wondering exactly how the vallejo and citadel crackle effects looked. Different results, but both look great!

    Great video- love those ideas. I bet the crackle medium would be good for doing sandstone Necrons for a lot cheaper than pots of GW's Agrellan Earth.

    Hello Twisted Dice. Thank you for the video. I am going to make a lava base and was not sure about what to buy the vallejo crackle or the Texture paint from citadel. As you have shown me you cant go wrong with the 2. I will buy the vallejo first and order the texture paint later. Thanks again for sharing. I like the green see though effect!

    Great video I’ve used the gw stuff but never tried the Vallejo version. Also what green ink was that it looked amazing would love that ink and paint mix for my Weirdboys. And I’m so glad someone else was in a hobby closet as I’m in it also hahaha I will come out one day I’m sure! Thanks again for the content

      Oh man I’ve used this ink for my ork skin too and it’s really dose make your colours pop on the models.

  • @joseantoniogutierrezchimal1524

    Awesome video and thanks but I still have some doubts as to how long should Vallejo crackle medium dry before painting over it and how would it look like if you paint brush over it instead of airbrush?

  • @efrain177
    @efrain177 Před 3 lety +3

    Question, how long do I have to let the vallejo crackle dry?, also have you tried brushing on top of it instead of airbrush, do you get the same result?

    Thanks for sharing the experience! I was looking for crackle effect on models, not bases (I plan to use it on Imperial Knights...), and the subject does not seem to be widely covered (bad pun intended, sorry for that 😏)

    The failures were useful to see. The white side turned out pretty good.

    What brand of ink did you use to make the green more vibrant, could not tell if it was daler rowney ink or liquitex?

      I’d like to know this also. Surely it’s possible to add any colour to this to avoid having to basically do things twice 🤔

    Can you airbrush this medium as well as brush on??

    • @TwistedDice
      @TwistedDice  Před 3 lety

      Yes probably could tho I’ve not tried it myself just yet. If you did I would set the PSI high to help push it out and onto the model due to the thickness of the liquid.
      Thanks for watching 😊
