- Link Belt 750 being transported out of the Las Vegas Festival Grounds after CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 by Paul Delong Heavy Haul using a Western Star tractor unit and Cozad trailer.

Do Linkbelt excavators share the same architecture as Hitachi etc? Rarely see Link-Belt excavators in northeast. Nice machine.
No, they are designed and built by LBX corporation in Lexington County, Kentucky. Its a 158 000 lbs piece of machinery.

Looks to good to use even that bucket lookes amazing gloss black with the red letters i knew they made excavators in the day but i havent seen a newer linkbelt they make realy good crains i seen a few 80s big bastards around always made good looking i think because they only sell big s.o.b,s

Those chains are supposed to be crossed up, the way those chains are now that excavator can easily slide to the side and off the trailer crossed up chains prevents that

Because that load is not allowed on Las Vegas Blvd also known as the Las Vegas Strip. If he turned left leaving the festival grounds instead of turning right the road ends into a T at the light and there is no other roads but the Las Vegas Strip. I'm born and raised here and know roads better than the back of my hand
@@cntslesfabrication I was talking about excavator swinging to blind side, to right instead of left with better observation of swing area. I know he has mirrors as other reply states but my habit would be swing with best sight of area.

We got two of the 350x4 models and I think they weigh around 85,000 lbs.
That was a nice bonus! I wasn't expecting to see any more CONEXPO videos this year. The truck and pilot truck truck drivers are becoming familiar from making a number of trips out of the show this year. It doesn't seem like it takes much for them to find the right place to position the machine in order to balance the load. Your videos have always been good but you must have gotten even better access this year because of the places from which you were able to shoot video. They must be getting to know you.

Hi my truck has a fiat Alice tug boat engine with full inter axel wheel lock deployment and 18 speed overdrive transmission with 2 speed auxiliary transmission and very deep reduction. Horsepower is roughly 1365.

Why do stupid (my opinion) engineers make hauling trailers that are not wide enough to haul big over grown excavators? Those excavators barely sit on those trailers with half their tracks on the trailer. It looks like those machines are balanced on that trailer and sometimes they fall off. How stupid. Make trailers wide enough for the tracks they will transport.
