I’ve never had the opportunity to get the privilege of getting to operate a Liebherr dozer of any kind because I live in the US and the only machines that size here that I know of are either Cats,Komatsu’s that have Dozer’s that big. D-10/D-11 or Komatsu 475 Super Dozer. The D9 was the only one that I got to run for any length of time and that was about 7 1/2 years and then I got the first D-10 and I fell I love with that Dozer, it had everything right at your finger tips, I had a radio that played music that was bad ass it sounded like the one that I had in my truck. And then it just had unbelievable things that I’d never before seen in any other Dozer that I had operated, that damn thing had more bells and whistles that I didn’t have a fucking clue what they were on how to turn them off. But after about three weeks if you would’ve come up to me and asked me what everything did I could tell you what everything and how it worked the whole nine yards. The people I worked for were the best you have ever worked for and I asked for some time to get used to it and they told me to take off a away I went and after about 16 hours was all it took and I was ready for the frying pan. But that’s what I miss about being a Heavy Equipment for 38 1/2 years, it’s like the bike story, once you learn you’ll never forget how to operate a piece of equipment. And if I could go back to work tomorrow morning I’d be there ready to start another chapter in my life, I’m turning 60 in a few months and I’ve got another 25-30 more years of operating either a Excavator or BullDozer!!! I know that I’ve probably bored y’all to death with my insites about my life but it’s a profession that I truly love.!!!!!
I hauled 13 axle (50 wheel) loads out of Liebherr in Newport News, Virginia. The 776 weighs between 75 and 80 tons. I always loaded the blade to the rear to increase what I could see behind me. For the guy who said this isn't as big as a D-8, this machine is almost twice as heavy as a D-8. The 776 is slightly lighter than a D-10. D-11's are over 100 tons. I like those 9 axle California trailers but they don't permit well in the East.Regardz!
The loading crew including the operator do an excellent job of loading the PR 776 off the convention floor in Las Vegas. There is so much more involved from a concrete floor than on dirt. I had the availability of loading from both years ago and this crew inside is awesome!
I knew that was Paul Delong Heavy Haul scooping that dozed up. They hauled a 103 ft aerial cat ladder fire truck from Las Vegas to Sacramento California. They did a wonderful job and I couldn't have been happier.
I did I&D all over the usa at exhibit halls for 40 years. That brought back memories of the crates and union guys on bikes and forklifts in those great halls ... i miss those days 🇺🇸 i was trying to reconize where this was at?
Amazing what man can achieve when he sets his mind to it such a wounder of a piece of equipment to excavate the earth movement equipment! What it can accomplish in a day would take months years ago to do like digging the sewer cannel for instance
A customer of ours also has such steel plates to protect the floor. However, his solution provides for rubber plates on the underside so that the plates do not slip. And his stackers have electromagnets to move the plates.
I operate the 10T dozer most at work .some times I would operate the D11 for streight pushing material but I like the 10T for sloping and finishing work it lighter and smoother.
Once you've jockeyed one of these SOAB's you realise what a fuc**** meal of it they are making. I pulled out of the business when I was sharing the cab with some white coats with clipboards. I was there just for the ride all the skill associated to it was handed over to the electronics they had installed. I since seen quite a few like that now. I went bac to back actors and love it even after thirty five years
Parker Schnabel just bought a CAT D-11 for ripping his gold claims.that things is a best. dont know how this dozer compares to the D-11 but its a big one to. Would love to see them side by side ripping away at the permafrost.
Very professional, no hi-viz, OSHA obviously was not there. If I slammed the fork lift tines into the deck like that my boss would have kicked me in the arse. And lets stuff around on a cell while directing a massive tractor trailer.
@@caseyanderson7600 just because they've stood the test of time as the primary method of short and some long distanced shipping-in general. Seems the driver can control how the trailer articulates above and beyond just steering it with the truck. Pretty interesting setup. Seems more like a train.
Question: Why didnt they just pull the truck in right behind the dozer and leave the lo-boy trailor behind the dozer, and back it straight onto it? Instead of backing and spining it 180 degrees? Prolly just me.
If I understanding your question right. Then he would have had to back out with a wide load that has even more blind spot than the trailer already has.
Think the trailer only "opens up" from the front, so unless you have enough room for the truck to line up, unhook, and drive out, there's not much other choice (alsi then the dozer has a way to go to cover that distance anyway).
Weight distribution, they know as required at manufacturing the the distribution along the length of the tracks and based on the low boy used it most likely has only a small tolerance of location for it. I have done both trucks and equipment industries and shipping is a huge nightmare as permits for these axle loads are expensive and not forgiving.
Honey, that dozer you ordered just showed up. Oh good, now I can start on that castle moat we’ve been wanting, knocking out my honey do list one two three so I won’t miss the playoff action this weekend. Oh man! I ordered the large model and this doesn’t even have cup holders. And this seat is only heated, not cooled! Send it back. It says free shipping if not satisfied.

What was the rig you hauled it with?
What kind of power does the 776 have? I see the 2 stacks, so I assume it is a V configuration, but how many cylinders? Thanks

This is one of the videos that impressed me the most in my life, 7 years have passed and the video has not faded one bit.
Anyone else more impressed by those forklift skills? 😲
not really, anyone who runs one daily would have no problem doing this, just like anything else
if you think it takes skill to do what hes doing your definately not an equiptment operator
NA not really they are very easy to drive learned to drive those when i was 16yrs
If you only knew the amount of money spent by these companies for these shows... it is insane !!!
Me, these are awesome. I love all kinds of diggers. Thank you
The "OVERSIZE LOAD" signs are required but the unit itself says it all!

All hands on deck for this move!!! Great work to you all....
Going to need servicing due to hours by the time they get it loaded...
Man, i do not miss working conventions. That video brought back all the long hours reminder feels lol. I’m good on that
Love the way the trailer bows up ward and only slightly flattens when loaded
Willie Nelson is a master on that forklift!

D10 best around for its size with lots of power D11 a little sluggish
This was enjoyable to watch!
Beautiful machine..and potential
I like the redhead throwing the steel plates.
I just said something about that. Not real smart and hard on the concrete.
very cool dozer

No one can make mighty machines like the Germans.
the correct lo-boy to transport with the proper wheel base truck.
That is a beautiful piece of machinery!!! I'd hate to get it dirty...just let it sit there lookin' new and shiny. 😂
Look way better than our D11 at the job where im working. Wish we have a couple like that one ...
Awesome 👌
The unsung hero is the hippie driving the forklift.
I believe that was Willie Nelson.
And his machete at his side, just in case.
Hippie????????
You know he drove a Harley at some point in his life🎱

Alot Responsibilities in the hands of one driver..

A lot of heavy weights there. And no, I'm not talking about the machinery.
Louie Lamoore ..... just what I thought, too many pies ...

How platform has been lifting ? Rear part exactly.

hydraulic rams built into the front part of the jeep
