My headcannon is that the cat has no idea what is actually happening, and everything that it does right is out of pure chance after hours of constant repeated cat related antics. With this entire adventure being a sequence that only has a 1 in a trillion chance of ever happening.

Edit: Watched le vid and wanted to mention, according to some steam reviews, Annapurna is also using the money from the game to donate to charities that help abandoned cats, this game is wholesome even in it's creation purpose

This is literally the game ever I loved that one scene where stray said "it's meowing time " and mowed all those bad guys
its such a good game in terms of lore and gameplay it can even compete with little nightmares franchise thats for sure.

Stray hit me with one of the hardest emotional punches I've experienced in gaming right in the beginning. The way you start out happy and content with your pack only to slip and fall, hurt yourself and only hear their confused meows above was a gut punch to my emotions. I'm honestly amazed this is an indie game though, the graphics, level of detail and overall game feel make it feel like AAA; the weird physics glitches and stuff really didn't break it for me because they were just funny (though I did get softlocked once).
I do think the parkour system is well fitting despite how restrictive it can feel; I'd rather have a mostly preset path that I can't fall off of than to have to do precision platforming and have my progress get reset by falling. They also make good use of it in order to hide secret areas and give a good sense of exploration despite the mostly linear jump-paths.
The art in the thumbnail was really good compared to the others, good job foekoe
I feel like Foekoe would enjoy Dead Cells quite a bit
