@@silversand9797 Letting your cat roam outside causes a number of different risks including the cat harming natural wildlife as well as the cat being hurt/killed or taken. the safer option is to keep the cat inside and purchase a harness to take your cat for walks.

When I did my allergy test, I got 30+ shots in my arms. Makes this look like a walk in the park.

I would love to recommend some treatments for you, but I don't know what you've tried and haven't tried already and, quite frankly, I'm not a doctor so anything that I would recommend, you should always talk with your doctor about first before trying. But if you want, I would be more than happy to share some treatments that work for me. Just let me know.
My asthma has died down now that I'm 20 but I still take inhalers everyday.👍🏻
@@nathanielschwartz425 Thank you very much Nathaniel, that's very kind of you. Since childhood I've used most if not all the prescribed treatments that doctors have suggested. Moisturisers, steroid based creams for severe flare ups and strong antihistamines. All have proved somewhat effective from time to time but it is not consistent and sometimes I suffer flare ups where nothing seems to help. During such times I suffer from lack of sleep due to severe itching at night and sometimes have to go to work after only a couple of hours sleep. I would be very interested in hearing about treatments that work for you.

I've had cats for over 25 years and I'm allergic. I only have a problem if they lay on my bed where my face comes in contact with the dander and saliva. Since my cats are indoor cats, I would never put them outside the house. I keep them indoors where they are safe, they just can't go on the bed. You just have to find out what works and get a little creative. The doctor just doesn't like cats.

Dumb question, but can asthma cause tightening in the chest or does it make your throat tighten and close too? Whether I get a cold or something, the cough is violent and lasts for ages, just grips my lungs for weeks, and when I lose my breath from laughing too hard or cold, dry air (or cats), my chest is okay but my throat shuts. I was given an inhaler which does help but I can't recall much tightness in my chest.
It’s best to ask these questions to you local health care physician or doctor!
@@vakeenbeppe Well the GP that Rx'ed the inhaler was like "Oh, it's allergy induced asthma" but the more I hear about asthma symptoms, the more something doesn't sound right. I can't really do anything about it now because I'm pregnant, but idk.
@Alyse B When I had asthma, I felt it in my chest. If I waited a while before using an inhaler, I'd eventually feel it in my back. I've never heard of someone feeling asthma in their throat, but then again, I didn't have allergy induced asthma lol Should bring it up next time you see your doctor.
I have asthma not as bad now but when I was a kid I tried to breath but you just can't and your chest hurts when you try to.

I'd definitely poke around online to ask actual doctors, but I 100% understand your issue of asking your own doctor and their answer not really matching up to what's going on with you. I have the same issue - I have this horrible dry cough that just affects me for up to a week at a time, and my doctor suggested it was basically just acid reflux, even though the symptoms of acid reflux don't match up to what I'm going through at all.
So I'd ask somewhere outside of CZcams (there are some websites where you can talk to actual doctors for free, but I find they aren't really helpful either), but I completely relate to your issue of what the doctor said not seeming to match up to what's happening. Good luck!
Is it me, or did they make a mistake? She put an x next to the box (2nd diagonally from the left top corner) to indicate the cat allergy. Then she pointed to a different box after the test when stating that she had a cat allergy.
You can get use to Cats! I have a life long cat allergy but am fine with my two cats :)
Unless you have a severe cat allergy, it doesn't mean you need to get rid of a cat. Also don't make your indoor cats an outdoor cat, if you have to remove them, please responsibly rehome them instead.

How the fuck does allergy’s work when I was 8/9 I had like 3 cats now when I’m 14 I only have dogs but my uncles has cats I visit him and I start having an alergic reaction from the cat hair like where the fuck did that come from bruh

Might be pointless to say this here since they likely won’t ever see it but PLEASE don’t put your cats outside!! They are incredibly harmful to local wildlife populations and it’s also bad for the cat for obvious reasons (parasites, cars, predators, etc.)
