John says he kind of based this on a blackface bandmaster and the Tweed Twin he made for Clapton. And you can definitely hear where that comes from. To my ears, it isn’t very deluxey

Single coil pick-ups on the strat.

@@R3Minion I play Custom shop strats with vintage single coils, but never hear that much noise through any tube amp. I think it has more to do with a grounding issue. Or the light sources are busting those pick-ups. Or maybe a microphonic tube.
