We used a Royer r121 and Shure SM57 on the guitar amp, with both patched into our Miktek MP-201 mic preamp. Absolutely no EQ, Compression, Reverb or other processing was added to these recordings.

Do these hold their value decently? I have a chance to pick up one of the wine taurus limited editions for $1700. Excellent shape. I’m just unsure what the used market will do with these.

Used value seems to hold pretty good as the wait for a new one is usually 3-4 months.
