Thanks for another fantastic tutorial Jeff! I recently did my 991 pads, rotors, and fluid the same way you do it. I installed Spiegler SS brake lines and Tarrett engineering brake caliper stud kit to make the job even easier next time. Cheers from California!

Thanks for sharing, i’ve been meaning to do a full overhaul of my Boxster brakes. I’ve not decide yet how far i want to go in. For sure fluid replacement and pads. Not sure yet about the rotors, i need to review and see thickness thresholds to see if i’m still safe.
Porsche recommends 2mm of wear max before you need to replace the rotors.
Hi Jeff. Thanks for this, really helpful. Just a question, why do you use copper paste instead of ceramic paste between the hub and the disc, and the disc and wheel? Could you not use ceramic paste for the whole job? Thanks
I can't see why you couldn't. In this instance I'm just ensuring the parts don't seize to each other with corrosion over time, and I've always found the copper anti seize works well for this. Maybe if tracking and these were getting super hot then the ceramic paste might be a better choice.

Hi Jeff, thank you for sharing. One question: does the caliper bolts need replacement as the workshop manual stated?
I never do, as they aren't torque to yield, so they should be fine in my opinion.
Is it worth changing out the rear rotors anyway since I'm changing front rotors and pads and rear pads also.
Depends if out of spec and if you are doing the work yourself. If a workshop is doing the work then you are probably going to be better off doing the whole lot together as you will be up for additional cost to replace the rear rotors when the time comes.

Hi there, I've recently changed my rear break pads but not my rotor as there was still some life to it, but thinking of changing this now. If i'm just changing the rear rotor, will I still need to bleed the break fluid? thank you for your useful video!
Won't need to bleed the fluid. You will separate the pads, which will force fluid back to the reservoir, which will be push back again when you press the brake pedal after the job. No air gets into the system so no bleeding required.
