In this episode, "one thing leads to another" we continue our pointless mods journey and finish off the front parking camera installation. I decided to remove the front bumper of my Porsche 981 and clean the air conditioning condensers and radiator fittings.
Look out for a surprise new mod that will be bigger than the ducktail spoiler.

Great video, simple and straightforward, easy to follow. The only difficulty I encountered was the daytime running light wiring harness had one clip, as shown in the video, and one zip tie near the side lights. It was difficult to reach, and I had to cut it off. Thanks

Great video! My GTS bumper is getting painted now, I still need to get a few bits for it including the foam crash absorber. It might be worth checking that your current tow hook location lines up with the GTS bumper. I read somewhere that it’s different but I can’t be sure without checking.

@@TDS981 I’m not sure entirely but they’re coming from over my right shoulder (righthand drive here). I need to do some more trouble shooting. I can hear some coming from the lefthand side as well. The noises are more squeaks/creaks than rattles.

I get a creak just over my right shoulder, typically when driving and something causes a teeny twist in the chassis, ie driving on or off my driveway. Creak is from the arm of the hood. If I push and pull on it I can induce the creak, left hand side is fine. I did read of some bolts to tighten but has to be done with extreme caution, as easy to break, so opted to live with the creak.

With the rads yes you can go a step further but mine are in good condition because they were replaced a few years ago and I've had grills fitted ever since, the hardest part is removing the bumper once you are in you are in.
