- Time to take a look at another blade in Gerber's Downwind series. The Gerber Downwind Drop Point is here on the channel. This blade pays tribute to older hunting tools, with a modern spin. Could be a great addition to your hunting kit
if you would like to purchase this blade, i have left a link to gerber's webstore

See, now this knife design i like. Looks very classic and timeless and that blade just looks great with the full flat grind.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sabre grind.
Good job on the review and your funny . God bless. I bought two one green and one gray we shall see.
👍💯👍💯
Hope you show it again after either honing or stropping the blade to get the edge fixed. Live the classic look and sheath it has. Would love to see how it does with a proper edge. Somewhat bummed it didn't come with a really good grind. I am not a fan of having to do things to a knife straight out of the box.
I do have plans for a follow up video. There was that one minor issue that got fixed asap on a ceramic rod
Got me over here wanting the sheath fir my Gerber Prodigy fine edge
The sheath is amazing brother
These are on sale at the gerber site. I think I paid like $25 with a coupon code on top. Bought it as a “beat on it” utility blade. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
👍💯
That's nice bro
👍💯
Just grabbed this baby from Bladehq for $20 on sale! What a steal!
Dude 😳😳😳😳😳😳 that’s a great deal
@@Tctbnl my shopping method is simple, wait 1 year after release, then the following black friday/Christmas season stock up when the prices plummet. Happy hunting friend!
I watched this video for know the potential of this Blade, can u maka some kind of stress test obviously without destroy your Blade. I wanna know if It a good knife for my brother when he prepare his Stick for the bushbox or for start a little fire during trekking. Maybe u can answer me without a video, its possible batooning with sense little log cuttes with saw? Batooning not hitting without sense and just hard Is possible.
Lemme see what I can come up with
Gerber steel is craaaaapppy
They have had some issues, can’t deny that
Yep the second you said 7cr, I'm out. Thanks for another one boss 🤘
Thank you for watching brother
Could you do a review on the Kizer critical mini green version
I will look into that one
@@Tctbnl thank u
Chris my Brother 👊
BROTHER RON IN THE HOUSE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do you know if it's full tang? I can't find any information on that.
Brother yes it is. It’s one piece of metal with two scales slapped on 👍💯
@@Tctbnl thanks. I found it strange I couldn't find that detail when it was clarified in their other knives. I just bought this one yesterday.
No problem brother
👍 I like it
It’s so much better after I got that spot cleaned up
Yeah that pull test was harder than it should have been
Yes sir 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
👍
👍💯👍💯
👋👀
👍💯👍💯
I'm not really a fan of the saber grind. I prefer full flat grind for small knives like this one is.
Understandable 👍💯
The sheath is the most concerning for me
Why is that?
@@Tctbnl I've never owned a wax
Canvas sheath. I only have experience with kydex, plastic and nylon. So my concern is how durable is it, does it need any maintenance, how to care for it. I don't know anything about it.
Copy that, so far my sheath has held up awesome. No real concerns on my part
@@Tctbnl ok thanks
@@Tctbnl do you or can you do a video on different types of knife sheaths ?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and there it is !!! I don't think that's how you do serrations 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 sheath is better than the blade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seriously love the sheath 👍💯👍💯
