I just discovered this channel and damn Ratio tournaments are amazing, whoever came up with that is a genius. It's so cool seeing all the unique teams with unusual combos, especially from Hardcore (Tron), Punisher (Viewtiful Joe) and Jumpman (Chris). I don't know if it's because I rarely see those characters but these are some of the most exciting matches I've ever seen. 🙏
imo we should just pretend there was a balance patch sometime in the last decade and make all major tourneys ratio style. It's not our fault X-men IP rights got sold.

I feel like the Capcom VS series is at its best in ratio tournaments. So much variety for teams and synergies that we wouldn't know otherwise due to the established meta having severe gaps in power and viability.

Yes.
Vergil is just too flexible and centralizing to be allowed to be played. If he were allowed at even 8 points, he would essentially be everywhere due to just how good he is.
Solo Vergil would unironically be better than 99% of ratio team compositions

@@paulakroy2635 no, it's because solo X Factor 3 Vergil is too good and will destroy the point of ratio tourneys because everyone will choose him. It's not because he's easier to play. A lot of these characters are not even that hard to play.

Ratio tournaments should be an official thing as in they should be in major events as the main game so much more interesting to watch than the usual UMVC3 tournaments. Not to say they aren't fun to watch but this is far more interesting and exciting.
Player experience > viewer experience.

Ammy being a 3 is kinda weird, though. She isn’t really all that rare in normal play, cold star synergizes with everyone, and if all else fails she rounds out any team by being one of the better anchors.
Should probably be a 9 for the simple fact that she’s the star of the best video game ever, too.

Super entertained with this ratio tournaments to see more variety but i think the point system need some rework like be able to use vergil but cost 8 and the flyer characters like magneto,doormammu ,nova and sentinel to cost more to make choose other non flyers too and a chris player wining love it 👍

im tellin yall you gotta start hosting more ratio tournaments. i dont mind yall skippin the modded tourneys since havengers is holding it down on that front but at this point with dudes like spiral, hardcore, punisher, jumpman and kennybo playin these are just straight up more entertaining than the normal tourneys (not counting ones with tonykila ofc)

nah, ratio tourneys are always going to be side tourneys. The main tournaments will not be replaced by modded or ratio.

Tron always so funny to watch because nobody knows how to fight this character. She has no plus frames and not a single safe special. Just intercept her slow box jump aerials with air throw, and don't pushblock drill and just throw punish it.
Past that she don't got much.
