They need to do a BEHIND THE MAKEUP about Manny & Laura and many others! Like BEHIND THE MUSIC but beauty! Mannys talent as a makeup artist is lowkey not discussed enough 🔥 like he can PAAAAAIIIIINT and the flowers he's earned!
As a local I will breakdown the Coachella issue. Frank ocean definitely left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. The major issue from last year was the fact that they increased shuttle passes forcing people to drive for free parking making it overcrowded by 3pm everyday and it was hard to even get parking/ people were stuck in traffic for hours last year. They also introduced tiers last year which means you can pay more for the same ticket all because you are waiting in line for the ticket. The lineup this year is also a big disconnect and there is no middle artists. It’s either very big up a coming or super underground undercard no in between. Also the fact that doja and Tyler tour so frequently doesn’t make them that appealing as headliners because you can see them elsewhere more likely. I’m hoping I can find a cheap resell this year as that is the vibe lol

11:39 married here but even if I go out with a friend, my sister, co workers etc. I believe in no expectations, and I believe in dialogue regarding the check when it arrives. Don't freeze up once it arrives. If someone reaches first, I try to also be ready to pay, if they insist on treating THAT is the moment I say thank you and mental note I want to treat next time. Dialog around money is uncomfortable, yes, BUT avoiding convo or acting oblivious/presumptuous that it is time to pay is really awkward & that behavior is hard to overlook. I don't expect a split, money, etc as much as I expect a brief conversation around it when the check comes.

I HATE Cardio. BUT I LOVE you guys, every time I am on the Treadmill I listen to Fool Coverage. 😊 It honestly gets me through my entire session with ease and I get excited to do hear you guys which makes me look forward to my next cardio workout. Crazy... I was going thru tons of makeup a few nights ago and started a box full of stuff to give to my daughter and MAN! i was talking out loud to myself, and myself found myself saying THAT WAS MY OG!!! i can't believe the stuff i was finding. And i kept probably 40% of it and the stuff i kept was the stuff further in the back 😆 it made its way back to the front. But i found palettes from earlier than 2016 we're talking before 2010 that i wore daily. Myself is not caring it's probably expired 💅🏻
I used to spend 2-3 hours doing cut creases back then. I'd do one eye and then film the other eye and I can't tell you how many times I finished the first eye and decided I couldn't do the other eye lol

The thing about the 2016 makeup is that it was short lived when Covid hit. People were still doing full glam in 2019. But, then, had no reason to wear it. Now that we’re getting back to somewhat normalcy, peeps are ready to wear the glam again.
I really think the reason for the low Coachella sales this year is because of many people just simply can’t afford it. I’m not talking about the influencers, I’m talking about the normal people that attend as well.
I saw Laura's Instagram with the brie, tomato recipe and I saved it immediately it looked SO good. And it wasn't complicated! 'm here for the food content. Happy for you it did so well!

I learned how to do makeup from CZcams when I was 19 years old to now where I sit down at my vanity still always doing fun eyeshadow looks every day (: I’m almost 29 now and it has been my passion and was considering to get into school for it. You two were really in my top when I first was learning. I was watching everybody.

For coachella, I think it's so expensive too especially if you're not from here. People are in their recession era or less consumer era so I get it. Plus, we heard it was so hard to get in for people waiting in traffic for hours! Luckily my husband and I are locals and I wasn't drinking so I was feeling amazing and we made it in by 1 the latest. I'm still going but I can see why people aren't willing to put out that kind of money this year

In 2016 I was in high school and let me tell you.. the makeup girlies were going into their 7am class with a full beat every day! I was one of those girlies. I’m turning 24 in March and I don’t use nearly as much makeup as I did before.
