Thaks Laura I FINALLY updated my LR v9.3 to version 10 today. I waited to make sure any major bugs were worked out first. No issues during my update. Worked like a charm. Now on to editing. LOTS of stuff in my backlog to work on for sure. Keep up the great work
Just want to say, "THANK YOU!" I followed this video and the one on moving your catalog to another computer after I bought a new Mac (and I still had Lightroom 5!). It worked perfectly. Thank you so so much for your help.

@Debbie: How long did the update process took? Same here, transferred my 3GB big catalog from an old iMac with LR4 to a new MacBook with LR Classis. And the bar isn’t moving at all 🥲
Thank you for creating such an in depth video. I saw you mention it's ok to delete old smart previews file, however if you'd like to retain that information going from LR Classic 6 to LR Classic 10, is that possible?
Yes - if you have smart previews (and/or regular previews) associated with your catalog that you're upgrading, those will be appropriated by the new version (the file name will get changed to reflect the name of your new-version catalog).
I have Lightroom classic 6, the software crashes every time I am importing a pictures can you. I have been look for solutions nothing has worked, can you help me?
I would post in one of the forums, TCF. Even if you solve it, you're living on borrowed time with Lightroom 6 - at some point you'll have to subscribe or move to a non-Adobe product.
This is gold. Just upgraded from LR6.14 to LrC 11.0 on Mac OS X. A seamless upgrade. This clip is a most valuable resource indeed. Thank you Laura.

I don't think us Windows 7 users get the V10 upgrade. That's a shame because I don't want to change my OS to Windows 10 just to get the LR10 upgrade.
That's correct, @F. Microsoft isn't (or soon won't be) supporting Windows 7, so you also run security risks by not updating to 10.
