You did a terrible job explaining this class. You need to break it down like this. If you want to do dps pally you will never get picked for groups. Fully geared 1400+ does less prob less than 50% the dmg of an barely geared zerker. So TLDR: don't do DPS pally. Every group need 3 dps 1 support. Enjoy. Also bards can target specific ppl so it might be easier for beginners who don't know boss mechanics. Overall any class is viable and this game is a crazy crszy crazy grind. I don't think ppl understand. You'll be spending money if you get serious about this game,unless you can play 5 alts.

Still, I learned one or two things from your video, so thanks for putting it together. By the way, the word "Piety" is pronounced PIE ety, not PEE ety. It means basically "holiness". If you played Path of Exile, you will remember one of the main early bosses is named Piety. Keep up the videos and good luck with the channel!

I am new to lost ark but when people play several alts to gear up their main char faster, i wonder how long i have to gear up my Main with 2 different gearsets. What I've understood is that you will be fine just to swap build not entire gear set. For dps paladin in pvp might be a whole other story. Haven't Really watched any pvp content. But based from some random dudes video. Yea you will be fine :) I'm going to start playing the holy man myself

The 2nd Awakening quest takes about 4 hours to complete, but once done it unlocks your 2nd Awakeneing for every character on that server. The builds can differ between Support and Damage Paladin, but there's crossover.
Im thinking paladin, but I primarily play solo - are they a good solo class? I honestly know nothing about Lost Ark just that it's a diablo-style MMORPG (which I'm excited about) is it easy to find groups / group finder? I Want to contribute, but I also don't want to be hating myself if I'm doing content alone since I usually play late nights lol
I understand how you feel and there's a matchmaking system so you don't have to worry and every group will need a paladin, they have been in pretty high demand so you won't have an issue finding a dedicated group to stick with either

@@m__zombi sounds nice. I am just a little bit hesitant to level one bcs most of the content creators said that you should build supp when choosing paladin. (I am currently my highest lvl with Atillerist, which I like thematic but play a little slow)
Other way around, it's Holy Knight in RU, at least, and I'm told will be "Paladin" in the west, in keeping with our traditional pally classes in most mmos.
Both are viable supports Choose Bard if You are going to be a backline support Choose Paladin if You are going to be an aggresive support. Both are equally good
I didn't find this guide very helpful at all. It was more like a "class description" than anything. I started as a shadowhunter main and used my feiton power pass to boost a pally to try support and I'm finding my health just gets deleted way faster than when I am on my shadowhunter... not sure what gives.
Their ingame preview of the class is very missleading. Looking like an absolute powerhouse with cool effects. Thats what I went with. Now every source of information tells me its a b*tch support doing no damage at endgame 🤣. Glad there is 2 free 50 boosts to be claimed coz im probably rerolling.

@@mikem2k6 really forgiving compared to my other classes ive tried. combat is fluid and feels rewarding and the skills are extremely pretty

so torn between Bard and Paladin
Both are viable supports
Choose Bard if You are going to be a backline support
