I went in with low expectations but the more I played the more I realised this is the best fun I've had since the glory days of gaming. I frikking love this game.
I have to agree up until lvl 25 I thought pfff what is this, but it just keeps getting better and better. UPDATE: 200 hours plus and still playing and having fun with it :)
The biggest complaint I have so far on this game is the UI is abysmal for those of us with less than stellar vision. My back was aching terribly after 2 hrs of playing because I kept leaning forward to read what the screen SAID in like 8pt font. There's no way to make the quest log or anything in the UI bigger than the overall 110% UI. I feel a bit sad that there are no male magic users as I didn't want to run around in lingerie but really wanted to play magic. ...So I have a paladin now. It seems far more Path of Exile than Diablo. Overall it's an interesting game and I'd love to be able to SEE it. My vision isn't even that bad.. 20/40.. I can pass a driving test!
I have the same issue my friend. Lower the resolution. I'm running 1366x768. A balance between form and function. But, I can read with ease now, even with poor vision

15 classes isn't 15 classes for people who want their avatars to represent them and their gender. I don't think lowly of female characters but I'm a guy and my character represents me in a game. So for me it's only 7 classes. 6 of which are within the same top level classes (gunner and warrior). I do wish they would get rid of the gender blocking all together and let people choose for themselves

i just started playing it last night. at fisrt it did feel like that, but after 20mins or so, you realize theres not that much to the game. theres a lot of popups that help remind you of certain buttons and to do certain things. game is mapped out where you always know where to go next.
The game has more prologues then the Lord of the Rings movies had endings. Holy crap, let me play already. Its so weirdly paced too and makes no sense.
Upgrading end game PvE gear takes crystals which you can get from doing a limited amount of daily quests or buying them. Some YT video explained that if you grinded without opening your wallet it would take several months if not years to get your gear maxed out. Or you can open your wallet and have it all in one day... Some say its pay4convienance but if you gotta grind that much to get the same result its terrible, just a capitalism simulator with have's and have-nots imo.
Yes u can buy upgrade mats from shop and some skins for boats are p2w too but from what I understand if u are into pvp it's not. For rest of content it's p2w
Check out asmongold video on this topic.. People defend games they like to play that's it's not p2w etc but in the end its how much u wanna pay for entertainment u are getting. See if the grind is worth ur time.. This game has mobile game style paid walls in late game stuff

I'm only 7 hours in or so, It did take a few attempts to get into it but I am starting to have a blast.
Fr I never thought id dig an MMO but my boy talked up the pvp and now I cant stop dungeoning and grinding the game is legit a blast

Helpful. This game hits that ARPG spot a bit. Entertaining for a F2P game.
Correction: hardest task to do when starting an mmo is creating a freaking character name! Spent at least 45 mins trying to cycle thro names.

Yep, you get one free powerpass and another one getting a character to 50. Saves you a lot of time upgrading alts to tier 1.
