Can we appreciate ILLENIUM for his drums and chords in the drop and classic ILLENIUM filler that's in 95% in his songs as well as his signature riser in the build up and 3rd drop with chorus has ILLENIUM written all over it

The thing I love about Gryffin, Daya, and so many others is seeing the not only be really good at what they do, but you can see that they are having the time of their lives. They are savoring the taste of life, and I love it.
Let’s be honest: If your life is half this cool, you’ve got a pretty good life. But getting to go around the world and play cool music to cool people…I’d be having the time of my life too. Heck, my life IS at least half this cool to me, and I do have the time of my life.

It's pretty rare for an EDM artist to have completely live vocals when having a guest artist. It helps keep everything on tempo and ensures the programmed parts of the song go off properly. Even when Gryffin had Callum Scott at Red Rocks, he was singing with the original backing track. Daya fucking KILLED IT, and it's completely understandable why Gryffin just let her fly with this song (and usually does, she almost never has a backing track when she's on stage with him). You could tell it was 100% live, her breathiness as she ran around (01:01 to the drop) was unmistakable, but she was flawless. I don't consider the breathiness to be a flaw, she's literally running around the stage belting out a song that doesn't give her a lot of time to breathe, there's nothing to fix or improve there, she's gotta breathe, and the fact that she can be that out of breath but still hit everything perfectly is incredible.

I always like how Gryffin brings such a “live” feeling to his shows (playing guitar, bringing out featured artists, etc). Daya’s singing here is incredible, I almost prefer it to the studio version. Wish I could’ve seen this live!
