This was the first band we saw on Friday night of SITW. I loved the whole vibe of 3EB and especially when he stopped and went old school with the speakers for feedback. First time seeing the band live. We really enjoyed the whole festival ❤

Why do some artists just sing wonky ways live, skip bits, sing the high bits low, etc?
We know we love the song. Sing it then!?
His voice is probably not what it was 25+ years ago but he is pushing 60, to be fair. Some of the skipped bits could be him getting his breath. It is quite a wordy song, after all. Sing the high bits low? Maybe he can't hit those high bits anymore. Maybe he never could (haven't heard anything live around their prime so don't how much was post-production).
find appreciation for the intentional differences in the live versions. it's how you know it's live.

As people get older and live certain life styles things happen to their voices. Just listen to any aging rocker live, except for Steven Tyler, that dude's a freak of nature. I can assure you of one thing though, I would have rather been at that concert than a swiffer concert any day of the week.

mixing goes a long way, i saw them a few months ago and while his voice has lost steam with age he sounded amazing
singing strains the vocal cords, thus damaging them over time. this is a common injury for professional singers and is to be expected and cherished.

His vocal capacity sounds like a balloon with a gaping hole in it. And they deliberately turned his mic down to make this performance seem weak. Really sad they drank the koolaid and this is what they got in return. Humiliation.
