I love your selections for your children's stockings. In the past, I gave school children a goody bag full of supplies for the second semester with a few hand-sized toys. Boy, did they love them. It helped out the students not to ask their parents for extra school supplies and they focused on their work.
I love how honest you are. Telling us where you get your gifts from. Not every one would say they shop in cheap shops.😊
Oh Kim the close up shots during your expensive stocking stuffers dialogue killed me 😂 I think this generation of girls will age better than all of us with their love of skin care. Go girls!
Unfortunately might have the opposite effect….. making their skin more mature at such a young age!
@@alybean4211I think that's more of a concern if a young girl wears makeup that clogs pores, whereas skincare usually involves cleaning & moisturizing. I didn't let my daughter wear makeup until she was 15 or 16, & I let her start w/lip gloss & clear mascara. Some girls were wearing heavy eyeliner at 12 & 13yrs old! I saw sev at qqmy daughter's 6th grade school dance wearing strappy dresses & 1½-2" heels! My daughter's hair was what she focused on, & I only let her wear flats, or a ½" heel in a close-toed shoe w/a strap. They want to grow up so fast, but I also think they want us to slow them down bc they're still kids, & don't like the peer pressure to look like Bratz dolls, which also influence them. I say let them be kids as long as possible! Also, proper skincare is important, esp since they're in FL, & the Sun is brutal.

I meant more of like skincare that has harsh chemicals like the drunk elephant that most underage girls are obsessed with for some reason?! Sunscreen is important tho yes!!!

For stockings, I do mostly edible stuff and small toys that are a pain to wrap- Usually items are on cheaper side.
I love shopping for stocking stuffers. I used to look forward to the Highlights magazine every month. Ahh the 90’s. ❤❤
Kim you found some amazing gifts at the thrift store. One thing I get for all our stocking is a few food items. One son loves sardines, andvramon noodles,one loves pepperoni sticks, I Love canned oysters. Grandson loves alphagetti, so i try to get a couple of them for each stocking. You are so lucky to find all the neat stuff that the kids will love. Way back when I was a kid, like 55 yrs ago, a kid a few grades higher then me caught toilet paper on fire outside the school with a magnifying glass.
Wow! So many stocking stuffers. How large are they😊 I'm 73. We used to get an orange, some walnuts, some candy canes, some lifesavers, a couple of toys..that's it! Times sure have changed. LOL
Fun stuff! I always saw so much to buy for my nieces and by comparison very little for my boys. It gets even harder when they reach the tween/teen years and forward. My husband recalls every year as a teen getting socks and underwear and sometimes shirts with funny sayings. As an adult he received ties.

We are a BIG stocking family!! My sister and I looked forward to that the most on Christmas morning! My mom went all out on them!! I continued the tradition once she was unable to go out shopping but she would give me list of what she wanted in them!! She would have me start picking up things in August lol!!
I only have 1 kid so I go all out on her stocking. She has a huge one and I put all kinds of stuff in it. She’s always the most excited for that instead of her gifts because it’s so big that it’s like she’s never going to get done pulling stuff out of it.
Back in my day those wands were used to collect Bingo chips😆😆😆. Yup that’s my age showing💕
I giggled with the flashlights. Every year (even as adults) my parents still give us flashlights and toothbrushes.

Usually I wrap my gifts with your “wrap with me” video but this year I’m ahead of the game!! My kiddo turns 12 on Dec 20th, so I always gotta divide the gifts so I can wrap them correctly for their respective holiday. Merry Christmas! Still looking forward to you wrapping these stocking stuffers when it doesn’t fit in their stocking 😂
I love finding stocking stuffers for my family, even more than buying larger gifts! I always make it a challenge to spend no more than $5 on each stocking stuffer! It also helps me stay in budget! 😊

Everything is absolutely awesome..I found the bath bombs in Dollar Tree...they were Froot Loops, Lucky Charms, , Hersheys...I nabbed them, and they have the Mr. Bubble bath chrystals at the DT too.. fun chap sticks..here, in the winter, chap stick is a must.(.in.. every..crevice...car, book bags, pocketbooks, coats. 3-4 in every single thing I own!!) Yoy gave me some good ideas!! You definitely have your life together!!!
My daughter is only three and she loves her magnifying glass she first saw one at my mom's work and from then on she had to have her own staying with the flashlight she's a little explorer

Our stockings are always the same, new toothbrush, tooth paste and mouth wash, a chocolate orange, their favorite snack, one of the candy filled candy cane tubes and a small toy like a hot wheels or a mini figure.

Hi Kim! I bought mini flashlights too! Check the battery compartment..mine did have batteries but there was a film you had to remove before they would work!

Kim Im dying laughing. We used to get the candy cigarettes and played like we were grown. I did manage to find some crayon books with crayons that will only work with those books thank God❤. You said reading rainbow. I remember that. So cool back in the day. And I still put oranges and apples and nuts in stockings like my mom used to❤By The Way Kim some of those can’t be stocking stuffers. You are going to need a giant toy bag to put all that into it👀

I always put a toothbrush in my kids stocking, last year I leveled up and got the the 2 oldest a rechargeable toothbrush, I usually get battery powered, they were like $50 each...both of them threw them away after 3 months instead of just changing the toothbrush head 😑 they're getting manual toothbrushes for the rest of their lives

@teeandkids937 didn't think I had to tell a 16 and 11 year old to change the toothbrush head..my 11 year old did keep the replacements but threw his brush away because he saw my oldest do it

I have a budget of £20 (around 25 dollars) & everyone gets about 3-5 items most years. But I’m buying for older age group now. When I’m buying for younger ones I get a lot more items that are under £1/1 dollar for their stockings.
I am so excited to see my grandson 5 years old all the way from Australia. They arrive tonight and I have gifts under the tree and a few things in his stocking :) I would have bought everything under the sun for him but since he has to go back how in the world would he take it with him :(. ** Anyway loved the video exciting times around here not sure if I will be able to watch your upcoming videos :( I will be so busy with the grandkids lol probably exhausted too. PSA with those magnetic wands! Stay away from electronics, in grade school a classmate swiped one across the teachers desktop and the screen went blue? That was in the early 2000’s butttt still better safe then sorry!

I have a halloween needlepoint going on 4 years and I finished my daughters that I started after she was born 46 years ago! I use to buy the bath bombs and then the plumber told me not great for the pipes.

Not gonna lie, I am jealous of that nail kit you found!!!! That one set of Impress nails is usually $8. So you did good! Especially for them to practice with. Tips: clean your nails really well with an alcohol wipe, let it Completely dry, and avoid water for as long as possible so do them right before going to bed.
