I hadn’t heard her laugh yet but when it happened I just about died 😂
Haha. When I first started watching her late night talk show appearances, I couldn't tell if she was being serious or performative. Now I think the truth probably somewhere in-between - she's not interested in being serious but also she is actually crazy. I'm obsessed with her off-color brand of humor and the fact that even though she is a comedic genius, she can make people laugh just by being herself.
David....always.
There's an interview of David with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, that even thinking about what they're talking I about, I would cracked up laughing .
Sometimes I rewatch her apartment tour. I hate when celebrities have bland boring homes with no personality. You have all that money and for what?!

Both Amy and David are amazing. Really wish the at home show continued. I generally avoid celebrities like wildfire because they tend to be a walking ad of artificial relatability but she makes even her appearances into a phenomenal comedic romp.

David wrote about how their father was proud of his beautiful daughters and anxious that they not gain weight so Amy bought a fat suit and wore it when sh visited him. Sometimes she would wear only the top half or only the bottom just to mess with his head.

I think the dress is amazing!!! I’ve been mesmerized by how it billows around her in the chair. It’s clearly taking advantage of our expectations and challenging them. That’s the point of avant-garde fashion.

I'm no stranger to depression and I once also threw a handful of rusty nails into the yard, but it was more about teaching the neighbor kids a lesson about wearing shoes outside then it was an arts and crafts kind of thing...🤪

That book "Microwave For One" was voted the most depressing book title sometime back in the 1990's. We bought it for our Mum back in the late 1980's as a kind of joke...she used it for years after she was single. She would have loved Amy.

This woman is ALWAYS worth watching. I even enjoyed seeing her in some commercials shilling for some horrible laundry product (horrible IMHO as it has synthetic fragrances, etc. - not something one would consider being "green" or "eco friendly"). I'd watch her in anything and everything! ❤☮🌎

I highly recommend her brothers books, David Sedaris, they are so hilarious, especially Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls. It looks like she's had some work done on her face but it turned out really well, which doesn't often happen for people unfortunately. She looks great and her hair as well.

Amy can be entertaining on any talk show but she was truly magic with Letterman. Something about the curmudgeonliness of DL just complemented Amy's manic positivity perfectly. All of those interviews were legendary.
One of those hilarious adorable people you wish were your friend or neighbor. I sat down directly across from her on the A train (subway) a few years ago and immediately pretended hard not to look at her. She was dressed like a cute bag lady. Everything she had on was hilariously mismatched in clashing prints. And i think her goofy socks were pulled up almost to her knees. :)
