I was reading one of her books and she tells a story about doing a magazine cover shot with a lot of other influential women. during make-up she asked the artist to give her a black eye and bruises just for fun. After that she stopped by a Zales outlet and looked around, forgetting her make-up. The woman behind the counter said, "Oh sweetie, are you alright?" and she said, remembering, "Can you believe it? I'm in love!"

We had a guy at the zoo I worked at years ago who would rake out the goat pen with a handful of raisinetts in his pocket. Whenever a few kids piled up at the fence, he'd palm a candy, bend over with a confused look, and pretend to pick up a poop kernel and inspect it for a moment before popping it in his mouth and chewing a bit. He'd finally nod like 'oh, that's fine', and keep raking. Hearign the kids squeal and laugh was good, but its when they stood in dumbfound silence, then scurried away that always got me to break.
Bless the Sedaris family, even though they seem soooo blessed already! Love them

I love Amy! I have watched her on old episodes of David Letterman. He adaores her. I love her relationship with her imaginary boyfriiend.
Pet stores and so called "Professionals" will often tell you a rabbit or guinea pig lasts about 5 years... if that. We had a guinea pig that was at least 11 years possibly older (I named him Carson because he looked like Carson the Muskrat from Dork Tower, but the relatives he was set to live with named him Steve after the Blockbuster furry potato) before he had a stroke. My holland lop Loki was just shy of 9 (at least that's how long I had him) when he had a seizure VERY early morning and then died in my arms. They certainly can live long fulfilling lives so don't believe what the shopkeepers or vets tell you! Especially if you take good care of them and give lots of love. Loki had the most terrible diet of any pet I've owned. He refused fresh vegetables and hay and pretty much lived on pellets, water, and occasionally stealing a bit of wheat bread.

The thing to know about goats is that in small groups they are kind of a street gang - they organize in the same way and act in much the same way. If you have to deal with them [years back a place I worked had 8 goats and while my job had nothing to do with them, they hung around watching me and caused minor trouble] the trick is, confront the leader and make them back down - then they all behave because you are now the boss when you are around.
Its the worst when a bunch of childish neighbors spread gossip and rumors about you 🤦♂️ says more about them than you though! People are so quick to assume things and judge each other these days, then spread rumors esp via their phones. Not a good way to be and just a recipe for witch hunts to happen again! Least imo 😅 Love you both tho! And poor senior bunny problems 😂😂😂🐇🐰

Amy's experience is not unusual when it comes to how some of our neighbors and their dog too tends to be often in the mental habit of being overvigilant when guarding their beds most whenever feeling paranoid instead of guarding their hearts enough. I am not so sure a goat instead would be any different than a dog if it thought someone was stealing its bed.
My grandma and her second husband had a pet pygmy goat. They called it “Jellybean” for the same reason as “Raisin”. Jellybean developed the unfortunate habit of head butting my step grandpa in the nuts. Eventually they sent him to live on a farm, not sure of that farm was near a döner kebab restaurant. Hope not. He was a great goat.
I love Amy but owning 3 apartments shouldn't be allowed when there is a housing crisis.
