    My gf just surprised me by pre-ordering this for me, so that's either wedding bells or the Tallinn Choir singing in my head. She's knows I've been obsessing about the library for a week.

      Hi Don, I can understand why you have been obsessing :-) I cannot remember ever being so moved or deeply touched by such a beautiful library. It is one of the 1st libraries that actually feels it has a 'spiritual' feel and context to it. This could be the best VST library of 2021 but that is only my humble opinion :-)

    I've just got the sine player and downloaded some free sounds, and my god I'm excited. The quality of your samples just hits different from even Spitfire. There's something about the noise and recordings that gives them a vintage very real / live quality. Really stunning. Love the basic interface too. It's very freeing.

    • @thuroria7631
      @thuroria7631 Před 2 měsíci

      There's more weight to the samples by Orchestral Tools. It's probably the overdrive in the recording. It sounds like they got overloaded by the sound, which is something I really love. When the recording is too clean, it's just a bit... Not there.
      Haven't heard it done properly by anyone except Orchestral Tools.

    I wanted to buy just the organs, but then realised you need to buy the whole thing to get those pedal parts. I wish I could just buy the organs as I have a large number of choir samples and strings, but the organs I would be more than happy to grab as they sound amazing.

  • @alainthiry3965
    @alainthiry3965 Před 3 lety

    organ and strings are common and for the choir it is E Whitacre spitfire terrain (also time and macro choirs from OT....) for the longs but syllables here semms interesting. The description on OT site doesn't mention how many syllables the choir can sing?

    Purchased this yesterday. Nice library but I have to disagree with the description of the reverb. I found it to be intrusive. The choir suffers most from it. Maybe I have to experiment more with different microphones. Regardless, I wish that I could decide how much reverb I feel I need.

    The choir in particular is incredible...but why do OT insist on using the same guy who sounds like he got lost on the way to a toothpaste commercial? He clearly doesn't know a DAW from a bucket of fish. Is there no one from OT who can do the voice-over?

    • @IngoGarza

      Or at least give him the right way to pronounce the words. It bothers me a little but it's a minor inconvenience. I enjoy the narrators voice.

      I think I grew to like this narrator's voice in these OT walkthroughs after watching these for a bunch of years now. I somewhat expect his voice now in these walkthroughs. He does pronounce some things wrong at times, but he is straight to the point, and has a nice professional clear tone. He is comfortable to listen to when you are trying to focus on the library.
