  • I'm so excited to share this tutorial using THREE different techniques with you!
If you've watched some of my past balayage and babylight videos, this combines all of that information plus some on one client! This technique is a perfect way to use what you've learned and make adjustments along the way based on what you SEE the hair needs in even the smallest sections.
I also want you guys to be charging what you are worth! This would be considered a color correct and you are using your expertise and time to get your client to her hair goals. I've made a video specifically teaching you how to break down your services and what you should be charging. Watch it here: • How to figure out your...

I love the way you care about not leaving little lines of demarcation all over-it takes a little more effort to tease, to blend, but the end result is so worth it! You made sure you didn’t leave bands, warm areas, or chunks, and you payed attention to detail. You also preserved the integrity of the virgin hair and protected weakened hair as much as possible. It is certainly worth the cost of the color correction. Thank you for showing an example of the time and patience a true hair artist should take with their client! Yours are very lucky!
    Love love love!

Your the first stylist to explain so much without boring or loosing my interest. Everything you say is great knowledge!!! You have a gift of speaking!!!! Great video!! Loved the tip on back combing the hair sections and also holding with hair clip. Love the way you work client by client and treat their needs as you go along and not just ignore or it. You address everything properly. Play by play like a news broadcast. Lol. Tip by tip. Lol!! Great job.

I love the message of charging what you’re worth and have always paid full price/tipped for my stylist’s time. However, the problem with this is when the outcome is not worth the price. I’ve paid stylists for their time and have still had them damage/break off my hair, create blotchy balayages, replaced the blonde I worked years to achieve with orange brassy highlights due to the bleach/toner they used.
The problem is finding a good stylist who truly knows what they’re doing like you. On instagram, every stylist posts their best work so it’s really hard to see what they’re work looks like on each person. I’ve gotten to the point where I would really like to learn how to do my own hair so I’m not disappointed with the outcome and only have myself to blame if it doesn’t look good.

You should give it a try. All these videos make it seem hard and it really isn’t. Start slow and by sections. Maybe you can do the sides and leave out the top to begin with and then do the top the next day or after rinsing out the sides etc... If hair is long it can be challenging but like I said work bye sections and not all at once maybe do it on a weekend or a day off..

Love all of your videos and tips it’s so true I learned the hard way with Asian hair that’s highlighted.. trying to weave out as much of the previous blonde as possible but otherwise if I don’t saturate each section I get a warm band or orange where the lightener ends. Now I know how far I can push the hair without damaging knowing that sometimes I have to overlap just to touch them up! Anyway I love you and you’ve helped me a lot please stay well 💜💜

The blending agent, for sure. I never really thought about using a "clear" in a situation like this even though I've used clears or lighter colors to color melt with deposit dyes.

I foil from back to front too and every time nobody sees me doing it, they freak out and ask me "why did you starte at the bottom?" And I say you mean NAPE! Bc they treat me as if I'm an idiot! But thank you for being a strong women, and show&telling us your secrets&tricks a lot of COLORIST or stylist will NOT share one thing! So thank you& also for showing others, its okay to do it that way bottom to top in Mohawk!
