If you get the chance, give it a try. The shrimp aren’t that big (only 3), the salad is nothing but lettuce, and the roll is soft and not too big. All of those are pretty easy. The potato is dry. Put ketchup, steak sauce, Italian salad dressing, or something on it to help. It was all delicious, and a lot of fun!
I’ve been there a few times but last time I went there my steak was cold in the middle, so it totally turned me off with the idea of doing a steak challenge
I can appreciate that; however, before you start the challenge, they have you cut into your steak and take a bite to ensure it’s cooked to your liking. If not, you can send it back to cook it longer. Mine was rare initially and I sent it back. When I got it back it was a perfect medium-rare the way I wanted it.
I suggest med-rare. Over cooked is dry and harder to eat. I also cut it as I ate it so that it wouldn’t get cold as quickly. It’s a lot of meat, mix in some of the salad and shrimp while eating the steak. If the steak starts tasting bad (flavor fatigue) put some steak sauce or Italian salad dressing on it to change up the flavor. Also, I saved the potato and salad for last. Overall, I thought this challenge was delicious. Everything tasted great. Good luck! When are you planning on trying this?
@@OldGuyEats also thanks for the advice! I’ve also heard eating the meats and more dense items first is smart because potatoes and bread expand in the stomach, taking up more space
I ain't even know steaks got that big...
I know. It was huge.
I think I can eat the 72oz steak but the rest of the food would definitely be a no LOL!

Congratulations man
Thanks
You look great ❤
Thank you very much! 😁
@@OldGuyEats You’re welcome
are you allow? To get a second plate so I can cut the steak in half and put it on the plate
Yes. That’s exactly what I did. The stake was bigger than the plate which made it hard to cut, so I put half on another plate to give me more room.
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks. 🙏
And I want it rare.

It would be delicious! Thanks for watching!
I imagine we will look back at these times with fondness, but will lament the decadence. Hard times ahead, many billions will die.
Good times ahead!
Which location was this?(: this one looks amazing! And congrats on demolishing that steak !!
This was The big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, TX.
@@OldGuyEats thanks !
