You appear to have overlooked at least two things for the sake of the programme. The tyres are very old and should be replaced and where did you get a new battery for it? Oh and dont forget to charge in the M.O.T

This episode was aired in june 2018. Probably filmed in late 2017. £ 350 was at that time a fair price.
Ohhh ok, thanks for that detail because that little car is very nice looking and today 2024 I would pay 4 thousand easily ! Don’t know how much is that in quids !🤷🏻♂️

Wasn’t a good watch seeing that poor bloke getting insulted and ripped off on camera, the first CZcamsrs iv seen deliberately taking peoples eyes out. Paying just £350 and having the cheek to go thinking it’s a museum quality car. And saying things that’s not true at all like “the suspension is collapsed” when it just needed pumping back up and then suspension is “topped off with a filling up of the reservoir” what reservoir haha there’s 3 Schrader type valves to blow HYDROLASTIC suspension up. And scraping wing with a Stanley knife is crazy. Haha
The hydrolastic units are the reservoirs
But isn’t that the reality nowadays as everyone needs to make a living
For 350 quid I would rather had the satisfaction of scrapping it than the price insult.
What a ripoff…350£ to buy…how can they do that to an old guy who clearly doesn’t know anything about cars…

This episode dates back to 2018. They are buying a 35 year old car. 350 is a good price.
If they after buying they found something catastrophic that would scrap the car, they carry the total loss, the seller won't give them their money back.
If you watch a few of these you'll see sometimes they'll make next to nothing. The nature of buying to sell old cars is win some, lose some.
