    interesting fact about Kosher meat, because of the strict standards in which Kosher meat is butchered, cleaned, drained, and prepared for packaging and sale, the USDA does not require nearly as much oversight over Jewish butchers because their standards of cleanliness are legally defined as far beyond the basic requirements of the USDA and there has never been any reason for the USDA to change that exception in over 100 years.

      Absolutely 💯 correct ❤
      I firmly believe that eating Kosher is the best and most healthy way to eat. Many non-kosher eaters have so many yummy troubles due to the foods they eat and the way they eat. I have some friends that were interested in eating kosher like myself and once they did they noticed how much better they felt with their digestion, etc.

    4:02 The women buy wigs that match their own hair color. But, they wear wigs to cover their own hair, so that no one will see their own hair except for their husbands.......but they're buying wigs that look like their own hair. Seriously, WTH??? Then why wear wigs? My husband & his family are Jewish, and my MiL wears wigs all the time, and let me tell you, those wigs are exact duplicates of her own hair (color, style, cut). She said she's wearing wigs to be modest, and not have anyone except my FIL know what her real hair looks like, but yet she buys wigs that are identical to her real hair. This is just plain asinine.

Plus, even if I did have a personal connection to get an insider look at this Jewish community’s customs/traditions, I love sharing experiences that viewers have the opportunity to experience too!
      As far as the existence of the tour itself, something that I did not include in the video- it’s 30 minutes long already- is that the tour guide discussed the importance of discovering our similarities while valuing our differences. It was a very enriching experience for everyone on my tour. Especially at a time like this in the world, I hope this video is appreciated.

      It’s all a matter of perspective. I liked that the tour guide shared the motivation behind their customs upfront before the walking tour began so that we would understand that the customs are motivated by how they understand the Torah.

    • @hava-media
      @hava-media  Před 11 měsíci +4

      I'm not sure I fully understand the question. I mean, yes, the men work and contribute to society. They can have jobs rooted in religious traditions, such as the scribe, but there are also men who work typical jobs, such as businesses, medical, etc. This video simply highlights the religious practices of people in this community. :)

    FUN FACT: Check your food for a Kosher symbol. Why is so much food in the U.S. certified Kosher when Jews are a 2% minority? 🤔

    • @neljay9149
      @neljay9149 Před 10 měsíci +9

      Probably due to the same reason most foods are certified as halal in the UK when the uks pop of Muslims is 5%... they don't want to alienate consumers. If a company manufactures food and it has nothing contradictory to Jewish dietary law; why would they not certify it as kosher and cash in on that 2% of the population?

    • @hava-media

      @rkreznik , interesting question. @neljay9149 , that thought process makes so much sense!

    • @rkreznik
      @rkreznik Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@neljay9149 Why? Because Jewish organizations charge them to certify it. Certification is a tens of billions of dollars racket. Typical Jewish shakedown scheme.

    • @hava-media
      @hava-media  Před 9 měsíci +2

      @rkreznik If we are truly talking business, then you must consider the fact that these food companies have finance and accounting departments that have likely considered the cost of certifications against the revenue they are likely to incur. Please proceed cautiously when making assumptions about a topic that you do not know much about.

    • @rkreznik
      @rkreznik Před 9 měsíci +3

      @@hava-media I know enough. Jews make up 2% of the U.S. population, pressure companies to "certify" their products for a fee (to appease 2% of the U.S. population) and occasionally "recertify" for a fee. That's all we need to know about this racket. That, combined with our knowledge and vast history of Jewish behavior and schemes. The evidence is plentiful.

      It’s Jewish law/Halacha, married women are required to come their hair, mainly because the status both physically and spiritually change. Spiritually in Kabbalah the hair of the married women starts to attract klipah (unholy energy) so with that, they need to cover their hair.

    The video is very informative and I enjoyed watching it. They seem like nice enough people but if their ancestors had converted to Baptists or Harry Krishnas instead of Judaism 800 years ago their lives would have been so much simpler. Our lives would have been simpler too. There wouldn't be protests about Gaza at universities. We could still have prayer in public schools in the United States. We wouldn't have a federal reserve. We wouldn't have all of this gender confusion stuff. Just saying. The real mothers of the Ashkenazi people were four Slavic women who lived in Eastern Europe eight centuries ago. Hava whatever you are , whether a real Sephardic Jew or an Ashkenazi convert you are a very lovely and attractive young lady!
