i install them in my polymer80 frames. i tap it in, then use my heat gun to soften the grip, and tap it in all the way. love it!

Ok, so do you make one that'll work with the different back straps? I know mine won't. Without milling the bottom of the plug!
lower part of back straps have tabs which hold them in place
Anyone know if this will fit on the Polymer 80 compact g19 I feel like it's a lil top heavy and I wanna cover up that hole I heard that the g17 mag well fit the p80 19 I don't want the mag well just the plug
Ok it's Jr. Highish, but when I was qualifying with Parole, one of the guys was looking around on the ground after the string (he had one of the little plastic plugs that just friction fit in the grip) When the Instructor asked him what was wrong he said "My butt plug fell out." Became a running joke with him :)

Why is the 10mm/45acp version so much lighter than the plug for small-framed Glocks?
Because your ammo already adds additional weight
@@creedmischief4264 The increased recoil from 10mm/45acp more than makes up for the increased weight of the ammo.

I notice that when I have my Streamlight TLR-1 on my G19 I shoot a bit lower due to being 4 oz heavier up front. What ounce Thug Plugs do you have to balance it out?

yes,,,, once you put the plug you can't use the different back straps that came with the Gen 4!!!!!

+Aaron Purtell The back straps have a little lip on the bottom that covers part of the hole on the bottom, so it could make it difficult/impossible. I haven't tried it (I don't own a Gen 4), but my guess is that as long as the plug is already in, the back strap should be able to fit over it. Someone who has a Gen 4 should test it out and post something.
I have a glock19 Gen 4 and once the plug is installed the back straps can't be used. It sucks cause the gun does look and feel better!!!
Have you tried modifying the back straps in any way? The whole kit is under $20, so if I were you, I'd buy a spare kit and shave off some of the bottom hooks on them and see if that would work.
I thought about it but, the small tabs looks like they hold the lower strap in place by shaving them off. The straps might come loose
I have no idea y glock did this freaking hole in the bottom of the dam gun my 43 has it so I did buy one of the to put in its just something I shouldn't of had to buy ruuuuhhhh!
The hole is to help remove mags that are stuck easily

So this hole or gap was based off an old design for sticking magazines. So why is it still a thing? Everybody likes to close it up. Ya cause it should even be there. Or if it has to be there than sell it with the plug in it. I cant believe I bought a brand new gen 5 g19 and here I am in the same old boat Trying to figure out how to close up that gape. The Options out there for other models are great but I can't find anything for my gen 5 g19. I feel like I'm being punished for upgrading. My reward For buying glocks newest product is sit on the bench and watch while the other kids play... i pretty much payed $800 and your telling me glock can't just stick a damn rubber plug in it for me From the factory Or offer the same options as the rest

+sanleunam Seattle plug is about $20 higher online than this (although it does weigh more). You can't compare it's price to the plastic plugs.

Sorry I’m late for the party. If anyone here wants to know it’s a maritime thing Navy Seals etc. some glocks with special spring cups (blue) are made for water therefore the hole extract the water from inside.

GLOCK should have never designed that stupid waste of space chamber hole in the grip frame in the first place. That is the only problem with Glock...perfection my arse. From plastic crap sights to poor quality sheet metal inserts to freakin poor design I can't believe knowing all this I continue to get them. Maybe that will change when I retire from L.E. and the discount won't exist.
I thought you guys would have someone there with enough education to come up with a better name for your product.
You guys should hold a give away for someone to come up with a appropriate name. The winner should been given one as a prize.
Love the product, HATE the name. The word "thug" has such a negative connotation. Please don't align your company with "Thug Life".
