"Koni Priveredlivie" is a well-known Russian song that Diana Ankudinova has performed. The song, whose title translates roughly as "Capricious Horses," was written by the Russian poet and singer-songwriter Bulat Okudzhava. In late 2016, Diana Ankudinova passed the preliminary auditions for season 4 of the Russian The Voice Kids, but was eliminated during the blind auditions in 2017. Despite her elimination, her performance on the show gained her significant popularity and over a million views on CZcams.
Diana later participated in the talent competition show "You Are Super!" on the Russian NTV network, which is designed for disadvantaged children who have spent some significant part of their childhood without parental care. She won the 2018 season of the show and was invited back for the 2019 "superseason," which she won as well.
During the 2018 season of You Are Super!, Diana performed various songs, including "Tomorrow is a Lie" by Lara Fabian in the season finale. "Tomorrow is a Lie" is an English song composed by Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian. Diana's performance of this song showcased her powerful and emotive voice, which helped her win the competition.
After winning the 2018 season of You Are Super!, Diana was promised an apartment in Moscow by one of the jury members, Igor Krutoy, so she could continue her musical studies. She received the keys to the new apartment on August 20, 2018, and has been living there since.

A few days ago, Diana announced a new album with songs based on the poems of Vladimir Vysotsky. The premiere will be at the end of 2023. The album will consist of 9 - 10 compositions performed by Diana. Diana recorded the songs in the studio. The recorded material is being corrected now. I really want to hear this work of Diana.
You should listen to the same song when Diana prformed it the first time in front if an audiance. There you can read the english subtitles. Also she explains there how she came to sing this song of Vladimir Visotzky. He was a poet and song writer. He became sick and died at his 40's. Please look at his biography and after that listen to the song as suggested before.

Vysotsky lived exactly 42.5 years (January 25, 1938 - July 25, 1980)
In April 2022 I watched it for the first time, Finicky Horses "Кони привередливые" made me very sad, I watched it without subtitles the first time, but felt the powerful emotions.
Afterwards I watched it with subtitles and understood the meaning and I took it as a personal warning for myself.
My life was all work and no play and a lot of stress at that time, I then made the decision to slow down my life so I could spend more time with my wife and children instead of always working.
Diana is just incredible ❤

Это одна из эпичных песен Владимира Высоцкого. Предчувствие неминуемой гибели. И попытка хоть немного её отсрочить, отодвинуть. И осознание бесполезности такой попытки. Диане удалось передать весь трагизм и высочайший накал эмоций этого произведения. Немногие исполнители брались за это бессмертное творение Высоцкого. This is one of Diana Ankudinova's songs that removes all doubt of her world class.
You are right about the sense of loss and yearning in the song. The highly metaphorical lyrics tell of a man who has realised he has to face death before he is ready. He has not even time for one more song. (Notice the song ends on an unfinished cord)
What's worse he realises it is his own wild life style that he cannot now reign in (the uncontrollable horses of the title) that has brought him to this pass.

Он пытается оправдываться за то, что не понимает точного смысла песни. На самом деле именно это - лучший тест для любого артиста: способен ли он воздействовать на слушателя, не просто не понимающего язык, но живущего в совершенно другой культуре, с другой исторической памятью. Что он почувствовал? "Страсть"; "энергия"; "боль"; "судьба". Даже этих слов вполне достаточно. До него дошла её страсть, её боль, её энергия, так или иначе дошло послание о судьбе, которое содержится в песне. Если артист не способен выразить существенную часть послания, заключённого в песне, с помощью своих интонаций, своей энергии, своих эмоций, языком тембра и языком тела - значит, он занимается не своим делом; значит, он не настоящий артист. И наконец, умение применять все эти вокальные инструменты и приёмы, на первый взгляд, не вполне совместимые, в одном произведении, выстраивая гармоничное целое. В большинстве случаев итог того, что она вам предлагает, убедителен и неоспорим. This song is a tragic-philosophical song, one of Vysotsky's most intimate songs. : Horses are a symbol of the capers and the speed of life. The hero of the song drives horses along a cliff over an abyss through wind and fog. He feels that the end is near and asks the horses not to obey the whip and to gallop 'a little slower'. He dreams of standing on the sidelines for a moment to water the horses. He hasn't had time to live and can't even finish his song.
* Who was the songwriter?
Vladimir Semjonovich Vysotsky (1938-1980) was a Russian poet, actor and singer, inconvenient for the state but the people loved him. In his songs he sang about topics that officially did not exist in the Soviet Union: prostitution, crime, anti-Semitism. He is still known and popular today in Russia, where he is considered the greatest songwriter of the 20th century. He always played his songs on a 7-string guitar.
Vysotsky died in 1980. His funeral took place during the Moscow Olympics. The Soviet media did not mention his death. But the news spread like wildfire, and the funeral turned into the largest non-state demonstration Moscow had ever seen.
In a 2018 survey of the most important personalities in Russia of the 20th century, Vysotsky came in second behind Yuri Gagarin. The asteroid of the outer main belt (2374, Vladvysotskij) was named after him. (google helped)

A bit of misrepresentation here :-) His songs and verses were mostly thoughtful, phylosophical, playful or about Russian soul, never really focused on topics highlighted by the commenter for some reason, although there were a good bit of satire towards the political climate and the power of the time. I personally consider Vysotsky the greatest poet Russia ever had, but even this biased opinion aside, he was one of the greates for sure :-)

От себя замечу, что на мой вкус, Диана лучше всех исполняет песни Высоцкого при этом не подражая ему непосредственно. А "Мужчины ушли", опять же на мой взгляд, исполнила даже лучше самого автора. Не последнюю роль в этом сыграла и аранжировка Брендона Стоуна. Если честно, то я с очень большой надеждой жду анонсированный Дианой альбом из песен Владимира Семёновича. It’s amazing how accurate you were on the message of this song without even knowing the lyrics! You were spot on. SPOT ON!!! There was pleading to give her some more time to live this life. To stay on the brink of death at least long enough to finish singing the song (I think it may be a metaphor for completing a certain mission in life). And there’s acceptance in the end that fate is inevitable.

The song is about your way in life. It uses metaphor that living through your live is like riding in a carriage with horses from a beginning (birth) to final destination (death). Circumstances in live force to ride faster and faster but that means shorter live. The only hope is that horses will hear the pray to not obey the whip (circumstances) and slow down, but they don't listen and continue to ride fast. In the end carriage arrives to the end and faces the god... Was written for a Russian movie but considered as illustration to the life of the artist that wrote this song. Pretty much like Mozart and Requiem, that is how I interpret that. And yes, Diana is going to release this year like 9 songs from the same artist in her interpretation!
