  • Traveling through Pokhara a local girl invited me to her family's home to be part of the Tihar festival.I was watching the ceremony of siblings offering gifts, laying flowers upon each other, and putting tica on foreheads, then found myself included in the festival which is always an interesting experience.
    Traveling cheap and meeting local families is a simple but very rewarding way to see Asia. Walking the back lanes and staying away from the main tourist strips reveals a whole new world.
    This short video shows a simple way of living in Nepal while revealing a close-knit loving family engaged in a very significant day in their lives.

    You are like a brother to them.That is the meaning of all Teeka puja .It si offering to brother from sister. BROTHER give some rupees in return .Any money even 1rs is good .
