Mods to get 1. Intercooler is a must 2. Access port 3. Radiator 4. Turbo This car, when stock, desperately needs cooling upgrades if you decide to increase power. And really the only mod that will noticeably increase your power is a turbo. The stock turbos are so tiny that in higher rpms the just can't move anymore air. The turbos psi goes from around 24psi @4000rpm all the way down to around 13psi at redline
About a year ago I went from a 2009 vw gti to a 2016 fiesta st. After doing a year worth of work and modifications I think i finally like it more than the vw. My recommendation is get a bigger turbo. You will notice that the fiestas power will just fall off over 5000 rpm. The bigger turbo will keep increasing power all the way to redline just like the gti does
had a 14 fiesta st that i bought brand new and it blew up while in cruise control on interstate. 3rd cylinder piston side skirt went bye bye and ford done my last oil change but blamed me for the previous oil changes.that being said its a super fun torquey car that handles real well and i also had a cobalt ss supercharged
I just bought a 2014 Fiesta ST here in Canada. I have had many different cars, 2007 Mazdaspeed3, 1989 Dodge Colt turbo (4G63T), 2012 BMW 335is, VR6 Jetta, 1992 Civic Si (turbo charged). I haven't had a chance to enjoy the Fiesta as I bought it with a clutch issue which I will resolve in the spring. I hope this car lives up to the hype. I ended up buying it 2 weeks after I bought my first automatic vehicle (2021 Acura RDX aspec). I wasn't ready to give up fun to drive cars just yet. I'm looking forward to the spring.

One very annoying thing is replacing the blend door actuator. Should have been a recall because it's made up of such cheap plastic
