- Vinci Vodan is just 11 years old but he isn’t afraid of going full gas on the Leogang World Cup track!
Follow Vinci's adventure here: / vincivodan
While the rest of the team is confined at home in either Australia, the UK or Canada, little shredder Vinci Vodan is taking full advantage of school being closed and bike parks opening around his hometown. He has been shredding the Leogang World Cup track and reporting back to us so we can be ready for World Champs ;)

at 11 he has a huge advantage , no sense of self preservation.
Regrettably, that same trait will lead to his down fall, without a doubt. He won't even see it coming. Might be on a trail he's done dozens of times before.
@@delinquense yeah when he's 36 but for now he merely bounces and feels no pain.
I used to work at a rock climbing gym with a 33' roof. We had a 2.5 year old make it all the way to the top one year. The next year when they had come back (he was about 3.5) he couldnt make it past our 10' line because he was afraid (rightly so at that age and height). You say its because he doesnt know self preservation at 11, but when you are THAT good at something you can do it without needing to be afraid because he knows what hes doing. (He did get bucked pretty good on that one jump though haha). That is the result of hundreds of hours of practice, he's a way better rider then I am but it's not because theres a lesson he hasn't learned yet.
@@Been.Here.Since.2007
True I used to ride horses and when they Why don't you still do it ? Because you don't bounce after a certain age and it hurts 🤣
He will eventually make a mistake. They always do. He will become overly confident and push his limits.. and for what? Even the so-called best in the world always end up crashing and burning. Just watch all the videos on CZcams that chronicle this fact. Something as simple as a mechanical problem on the bike could have devestating effects. Ego is one of the biggest killers of young men...and even older men!
I was terrified at all those jumps- Like was the kid gonna fall and break a bone? No! This little champ did it. What a legend, man. We're gonna see him in the world cup soon.
breaking a few bones isn’t what i would fear of for a 11 Yo but yh that was amazing
There were cuts in video, so he probably fucked up somehow :D
Wdym? It would have been funny!
See I hope all the possibilities for this kid but it’s not the talent u compete with on these extreme sports but yourself and your limits. One wrong move and ur career is over. I have seen first hand so many prodigies like this get too comfortable with their skill (especially younger kids who aren’t fully developed physically) and make one 1 wrong choice that decides the rest of their life.
I hope we see this kid make it to the professional circuits. Amazing talent on that bike.
Watching this video I remember when I almost got hit by a train. I was sooo drunk....and I was going to buy some beers. I just lost my balance and fell. I was lucky.
why are there always some idiots standing in the middle of the track who just cannot comprehend that they are doing something wrong..
I think I heard a "Sorry" though
@@madsgrand idiots don´t have to be bad people^^ but thinking ahead would be great..
@@philxdev sure. I was reacting to the "who just cannot comprehend that they are doing something wrong"
Because like you said... They're idiots.
same ski slopes, there's always someone....
Wish I had a bike and trails like that when I was younger.
Same mate
Me three!😁
Same!!😪😪
NO DOUBT!!
Wish I hadn't been paralyzed since the age of 4
When i was 11 years old
..
i was eating mud in the garden
PMSL, I’m 51 and still am..
Haha both of you had me dying! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All of you 3 had me dying 🤣🤣🤣

From „this is how my grandfather went to school“ to „this is how my grandchild goes to school.“ 😂
At 11...I was worried what Gargamel was going to do to the SMERFS.
*Smurfs.
Plot twist: the one filming was 7 years old.
his little sister
Your are jk right man if not wow wow🤯👏👏👏
Deep voice for 7 already 🤨
And the baby behind there is 4 months u wanna say??
And 172 K viewers are new borns ? 🤣🤣
How he has amassed that much skill in such a short time is amazing. The body movement, the timing, the reaction time, the spatial judgement and visual perception skills that are required for such high speed and yet nuanced riding is obvious a combination of natural ability and learned skill. I'm still shaking my head on how well he descended the Leogang track. 🤷🏻♂️ #superbe
Curious to know what his time was on the different sectors compared to the World Cup Riders. That young man just might be a future DH world champion. 👍
Born on a Bike.
Yeah, very impressive! He's gonna be a star for sure 👌
Dedicated parents!!!
Couldn't agree more.
Quick search shows top rider from 2019 qualifying at 3:25 for Junior division. I know you mentioned times for individual splits but this is all I found.
Cameraman picked some crazy lines to keep the footage going! Good work. That kid rips
That age without fear. What an awesome run.
what you caal fear, others call it confidence.
@@rondridealmeria Agreed. But you have to admit that there is a huge difference when you're young and still believe yourself invincible. Once you turn 50 and have a bad crash like I did last year, breaking a bunch of bones in the process, you subsequently have concerns about wrecking again. A young boy like this guy can have the same crash and bounce a few times, get back on the bike and keep rippin' down the trail. I remember the days of my youth and my confidence, but I also know now that I'm not invincible. There is no doubt the kid is supremely talented, and talent combined with skill generates confidence. I am just jealous of his youthful ability to take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. 😁😁👍👍
@@Twitch0331 I wish I would have taken better care of my body when I was young and crazy, I hurt like crazy now at 60, I snap, crackle and POP when I get up in the mornings from all the punishment from being overconfident as a kid ....LOL
Looks like in a videogame. 😳
Asia by minaru mukaiya fits perfectly to this then!
But better
Year, thas it's crazy.
A videogsme I would definetly buy
I would pay 60$ for this gladly
That's how I dreamed of riding when I was 11. Nice job, very talented.
I remember a kid like this when I was BMX racing years ago - tiny little guy who was fast as lightning, could catch huge air off the smallest jumps and had superb control in corners - they are a wonder to behold!!
My goodness! This boy is already a elite rider. I can believe how fast he was riding down those very dangerous tracks.
I'm officially blown away by what I just witnessed! ELEVEN YEARS OLD?! Within that culture that's probably not unique, but I have honestly NEVER seen anything like that and I'm officially impressed by his fearlessness and enthusiasm 👍🏽
I would also like to know what idiots gave this video a thumbs down?! What more did you want him to do, somersaults and backflips?! He killed it!
Kid your amazing never watched any videos of yours but this is your career take it by the horns and own it become the next worlds best, you are loving the sport and that's what its all about
He doesn't need school... he is going to live well off all his sponsor contracts 🤘
Maybe
bad mentality 🤦♂️
an injury can happen very quickly
Yeah rich and dumb like a Stone... Go to school
ilrefex91 ur right
@@leogrsl agree completely... All the money in the world won't compensate him for the devastating injuries he will eventually succumb to. Think of the lifelong regrets both he and his parents will have when that day comes. The kid will keep on pushing his luck until the day Lady luck collects her dues.
keep it up young man amazing riding. i am sure we are going to watch you smash the world cup in few years.
How the generations change!! Little man is kill'n it!!! Trails look so fun!!
That was some skills! Nicely done! Can't wait to see what he does later in life!
Outstanding performance young man. The thing that stands out most to me about his amazing performance is the fact that you can see pushing harder and harder at every opportunity as if he had the hounds of hell on his tail. Drive on young man break those barrier's.
Fantastico, Complimenti... in bocca al lupo per il tuo futuro!!!
Great kid, just amazing to see how good he is! Thx from Sweden!
I like how he doesn't clear the last jump and hates it. Cheer up dude. What you did is crazy for most.
This kid's amazing...the guy filming's not too bad either. Stay healthy my friends.
Unreal much respect glad your having fun!
Respekt!!!! 👍🏻 Soviel Kraft, Mut und Kondition!!
oh, to be 11 and fearless. plus at that age everything heals faster. but jokes aside, this kid has great technique. watch him put the rear wheel where it needs to be. hats off!
A future world champion for sure...fearless! 🌠💪😎
Incredible skill and completely fearless, what a display💪
Wow, this is the second time this week I’ve seen a video about an 11 year old doing awesome things.
Kinda jealous, not gonna lie.
Incredible! I showed my 4 year old son the vid and he was so stoked as he's been hitting some intermediate downhill trails on a Prevelo 16 inch and flow trails with a Stacyc eMX 16.
WoW, absolutely flawless. Exceptional skill and determination.
That kid got mad skills bruh!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Really enjoyed watching this amazingly talented kid with his prime downhill skills...Right on.
Woah! Outstanding! That Lad has talent....fearless
This kid was born to ride. Mad props 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These people sitting in the middle of the track enjoying their cp of tea. What a delightful habit.
Wow!!! Great filming and audio too. Hear the wheels in freespin!
Great ride!
Also awesome camera work!!! 🤘
Beautiful. Once a video game, now a reality
He looks so in control and confident.
Wow, the track is looking great, and the kid is preforming well as well.
BRO! YOU'RE AMAZING!
Yooo, it's the donut operator. How you doing officer?
Man if I would've had access to this when i was 11!! NICE!!
Lil bro gets older and his weight up, he'll definitely be ripping it up!

11 year old LEGEND in my book!!!!!!
That was a quality video and quality ride. Just goes to show you how easy it is 😵
It’s like his body is one with the bike. Insane skill 💯
Amazing little man!

Amazing 11years old!!
Amazing 💪🏼
Wow. That's awesome man...
Wow! A real champion!
Watching the video makes it looks so easy, yet I know it's very difficult!
Oh, to be 11 again, and fearless, and live in the Alps, and have a four figure DH rig. In all other aspects this could be me, but it's not. The skill and confidence is mind-blowing.
Wow that was amazing!!
Keep going and find nice sponsors and he got the world cup medal 🙏💪
Übelst gut Kontrolle auf seinem bike. Echt Respekt 🤙
Insane filming skills! I know its a high end GoPro or something, but to ride that close, that fast, and not be to close or to far back to get all the action is impressive.
Rider with the camera 📷 gets full props too!
That's so awesome 🤘
Crazy big talent to do that track with 11 years of age! :0
I noticed that because of his young age he has lower body mass and the aero drag has more effect on him than an adult. But because of that he is also nimbler trough the corners. Great ride, really really great ride.
One word...Shredding!!
Wow for the young man and wow to the scene!
I remember being that fearless. I miss being that fearless. Lol I wish there had been video cameras everywhere back in the 80s.
Everyone watch out! There’s a young kid right on your heels. Just wait til he gets sponsors. 👍☮️🌞🚲
Wow...this kid...is...AMAZING!!!
Bravissimi! 👍🏼💪🏼
Superb! So good I comnent twice!
Future world champ well done lad
отличный пример того, как развитая инфраструктуру для велоспорта создаёт первоклассных райдеров. конечно, не без недешевых байков, но тренировки, всё таки, на первом месте.
пацанчик- красавчик!
Imagine the level some of these kids are going to get with all the bike technology these days. Compared to our youth with bike that was no where near as capable . Definitely will see him on podiums if he stays in the sport .
just wow ... keep it up ;)
Awesome! 🤗
I wonder what cam was used for this video? The stabilization is smooth AND the resolution is clear.
