I tricked my Italian wife into reacting to an Indian Pasta recipe 😈🤣

- Mango, the Indian husband is always trying to pull pranks on his Italian wife, Basil. We do not usually do reaction videos but this one was highly requested by many of you, so we had to do it, so here's our very first reaction video for all of you. This is a candid video where she didn't know what she was reacting to until it actually happened. This video is not meant to hurt the sentiments of the Chef, whoever he is, it is just a commentary on the recipe and we already know that Italians are pretty strict with their food and will obviously relate to the reaction by this particular Italian. This is a satirical joke and acknowledges the fact that everyone is free to cook and eat their food however they want, the same way anyone else has a right to have an opinion about anything. So laugh and enjoy and check out our other videos!

Italians get such an enhanced accent when they're offended🤌🏻🤣🤣
Hahaha we do😂😂😂
@@marufgazi9025 😂
when they are on CZcams overacting
@@mohitchoudhary4627 let's not hate yaar. I'm sure we Indians overact too🙂😉
@mohitchoudhary4627 pretty much lesser than Indians who get offended over pity jokes on them and then they start swearing mom slangs.
That's how I feel when foreigners say everything with gravy a curry. 😂
@@lonewolfe2502 Sorry that's not how it works.....that's just kadi.
In South India, almost everything with gravy is a curry because Kari is the literal translation of gravy.
And Curry is not something that has curryleaves, else everything even things without gravy will be curry, because curry leaves are added for all tempering tempering and even for coconut chutney without tempering in South India. Curry leaves, which is Kari- veepu ila in South, is the one named after Kari or gravy as the leaf put in gravy.
Btw the preparation you said have slightly different names in South India, like kolambu, moru kari and so.
Guess, the word probably traveled from south and lost its meaning and stuff only to preparation with buttermilk in North.
@@aleenaprasannan2146 Okay, thanks for clearing up the confusion. Because I used to thought that word curry or kari came from curry leaves & word curry leave came from Tamil word "kari". But it's actually other way around because most of those curries or kari used to have those leaves in it. So from that dish, tree was called Curry leaves tree. Am I right now? I also knew that kadhi is a corrupt word of kari but here I said curry because it's pronounced that way in hindi. Also you are right that in North we don't call every gravy based dish kari. We call it sabji or saag or shaak or dal. To me it made sense because I knew that it's a Tamil word and they use curry leaves a lot in their dish. So I thought that's why they must be calling it curry.
But still it doesn't contradict my statement about not everything being curry since each dish has its own names in India. For example, dal or sabji or particular regional name of that dish. But I have seen people from West calling even the sukha aloo as potato curry. 😂 There's no sauce in that dish. By calling every sauce or gravy based dish as curry, people just overlook the diversity of its cooking method, ingredients & spices. They also disrespect the culture & language by giving their own name to that dish instead of spreading the actual word across the globe. Imagine going to kfc in usa & using the word murgi ka pakora instead of fried chicken of chicken fry. 😂
Even we South Indians call everything with a gravy curry
Yeaas 😂😂
sister i call everything that is tava fried curry aloo curry bhindi curry etc
I'm Indian. But using pressure cooker on that poor pasta was ruthless. 😂 That must have traumatized her. 😂
Lol, why are you so emotional for the pasta, being an Indian have some love and pride for indian food, not having these weird Indio/Chinese fusions, we’re not even friggin Chinese and you’re all emotional and sentimental about the poor Italian pasta?
@@Aven-Sharma1991wtf bro idk how you are so dumb as to make it so deep.
Ikr😂
Also are you even saving much time at all? It's only 8 minutes or so at regular pressure 😅
He looks so proud showing this video to his wife.
😂
He should be cuz it's tastier 😁
as he should
It's taste delicious 😅
Actually I prefer the indian version 😅… my friends mom use to make like dis(but doesn’t pressure cook jus boil nd add) it tasted excellent
True
Probably your friend mum dont have required material, so she used Pasta instead. I think, you people are trying to make and eat original Indian Sevaiyan Upama not this Pasta Subji.
@saurabhade1079 I have seen many people try pasts in the so called indian way and it actually tastes good. Nothing like what pasta is meant to taste, but who cares.
Well, a lot of people care. This video is proof of that. Many people don't know but there is science behind every well made food including Indian. This Pasta recipe is like forced recipe which will be always inferior to original one in this aspect or that aspect. Its like making Pulav with sticky rice with modifications in cooking which always be inferor in some aspect.
@@saurabhade1079absolutely none of the food we eat in india is authentic, not even your mummy ke haat ka khana. Every Indian who cooks adds their own touch to the recipe and then passes it forward. Your mom probably learned to cook from your grandmother, and both have completely different tastes. That's the beauty of our cuisine. So, no. There is NOTHING inferior about "modified" pasta.
And Pulav can absolutely be made with sticky rice. Or do u only know Basmati?
I had this challenging situation with my flatmate who worked in restaurant too, he was very pissed off because he saw me using onion in pasta(Maggie style) so immediately he started preparing one plate to show me how it's done and it was like a challenge, we both came up with our dishes and gave each other portion and after tasting my dish, he was like ohh ok I agree but only this pasta tastes better with onion. 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
It hurt her sentiments...as how it hurts for an Indian to see Roti-sabzi in form of "Tacos" 😂
I hope you know Tacos is Mexican food not Indian
@@apurvajoshi548I hope u know tacos look like stiff chapati, hence the comparison
@@aruhik yes and they’re not Indian. So what’s the point at being offended at that?
have you heard the name "rotiroll"
Why would it hurt your sentiment dude ! Tacos is from Mexico...Roti is a much similar version ,,but they're different
This video was really, really cute :D Awwww you're such a cute couple guys ^_^
That's so kind of you, thank you!! We are just trying to make all of you smile ❤️❤️
Mango tricked Basil in a dirty way, be careful of her culinary revenge,Mango, will be praying for you 💀💥🔥😂

We are still waiting for his reply 🍝🤌
I can only imagine the head bobbing and this hand gesture 🤌combo, when they argue.
Guys, u should try it! The pressure cooker cooks the pasta perfectly... It actually retains the bite. And since its cooked in the sauce, it doesn't taste bland. Please do try it
Do it without pressure cooker. I like it very much.😊
Are you kidding me? I've never seen such pasta recipe in my life.😂 Love from US. ❤
Tastes pretty good for India palate tbh but only difference is I have never seen anyone boiling pasta in pressure cooker. They all boil in hot water, drain and then add
go to any Indian Fastfood restaurant in USA , i am 100% sure they have this item
@@Phoenix.219 it is known as one-pot cooking, faster method
It taste good. Try once
The authenticity in your videos is so refreshing, so much love to you guys. Keep up the content ! ❤❤
When I came to uk during covid and landed in quarantine. My friend kindly brought all the ingredients of Italian Pasta, and I was just staring the ingredients for 30 minutes 😂
You should try this .. indian version of masala pasta 🤣🤣🤣😅😅
You'll be fed only this pasta ki subji for next whole month for this trick
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely fantastic idea, we should experiment making Biryani with pasta instead of rice 😂
Lasagna style
You can try it with Orzo. It tastes pretty good.
I showed the recipe to my mom and she was confused between anda bhurji and batata bhaji. The pasta took her out lmao
Oh my GOD! I LOVE HER REACTIPN. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Her reaction brings 'happyness'
Great videos. Keep it up. You both are very good actors
Let her cook biryani with Pasta😂
Never ever!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poor girl! She knows how much the biryani part hurts our soul, good comparison!
And dish name will be revengyani! 😂
I would eat that for sure
I know I'll still taste good...so I'll eat!😏

I lived in Italy for three years. I was expecting this kind of reaction
Her reaction is charming
That dish slaps though 😂
Classic 🤌🤌🤌. I love her reaction.
I love angry Italians. They look so cute 😂🤣
i don't care how offended anyone gets. eat your pasta whichever way you want it.
Yeah
Basil is the sweetest ever ❤ her reaction is hilarious 😂 poor thing was traumatised looking at the process of cooking raw pasta in a pressure cooker and finishing off with coriander leaves 🤣
The starch doesn't get washed away this way. It tastes delicious. Im gonna try jt definitely
I'm offended
It's better for the starch to get washed away. Italians eat pasta a lot it's not healthy to consume the starch that often
@@MsSheerAwesomeness I don't disagree with you. Indians too wash out starch from their frequently eaten foods like rice, potatoes, pulses etx
@@kaori_arimalmao 😭😭😭
Pressure cooker can cook anything... Even a whole Italian
😂
One Punjabi guy who reviews food once reviewed Pasta in Jalandhar and said if Italians will eat this Pasta they will fall unconscious. Ha.. Ha.. Also would love to see reaction of Italian wife on Indian Dominos and other pizza brand.
You guys are brilliant in contents, keep going, truly hilarious..😂😂
That italian hand gesture was everything.. 😂😂😂

Her Hindi in Italian accent is to die for ❤️ you know you’ve offended an Italian when they actually starts to talk in Italian 😂
As an indian Indian “masala macaroni “ over any italian pasta anytime!!!

But I feel this way it's easier and faster to make pasta....you just need to add right amount of water and keep a check for number of whistles. I'll definitely try it out 😄
That's the most Italian thing from which the Italianios get too much offended 😅😂
