No make up is better than bad/heavy make up. Natural make up is better than no make up. Also, it's a matter of taste. Some people like natural make up, some prefer standing out.
I prefer light make up even for big events because I'm not good at it and I know I can easily screw it up.

Truth is, the vast majority of guys don't know the difference between "no makeup" and "natural makeup". It's sad -- that's why so many girls who stop wearing makeup get asked by guys if they're sick.

I say this as a 25-year-old man who has put as much effort into staying out of the loop as much as possible, what the fuck is "natural makeup?" Is it different from store bought make-up or make-up that grows on branches in the wild? Or am I just that out of touch? (If it's the latter then please feel no need to explain beyond a simple "yes").

First time I tried to take a selfie, I realized how much some people must practice. It isn't a natural skill.
It really isn't. I always somehow manage to look confused or angry in every single selfie I take. How do people make their faces behave? I need a selfie guru.
@@nyangweso Nah, you just need practice. I learned that wearing sunglasses, ski goggles, a bicycles helmet, or a surgical mask make it easier because you don't need to get your whole face right at one instant. Also, I don't show my teeth when I smile, because one of the front ones is crooked.
If you want to get your eyebrows inline with your smile, and show just enough teeth without wrinkling your nose, well, then, you need to do a lot of practice.

Although I am trying to work on that particular insecurity by smiling until it comes naturally and I stop thinking about these damn teeth. A bit of progress but still a long long way to go.
