Imagine how much time it takes and how fast he is like he has to find DIFFERENT facts everyday then some animation THEN voice over like wow man respect ✊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥
Yeah good point
That's why there's different hosts and a team of editors.
He makes very good content and I do love how he uses cartoon to show it
He reads a script. He doesn't do the editing or even choose the topics... smh
I remember Mythbusters testing zig zag running against a crocodile/alligator. "If a crocodile chases you, run in a zig zag"... IF they chase you, which is probably not happening. As ambushers, they'd rather stay in the water and wait for unsuspecting prey rather than waste energy chasing. I also remember elsewhere that there's a point on the crocodile's snout that, if you bop it, it'll force its mouth to open. Glad to learn about the death spiral attack, though.
I am kind late but if you are out of the water and you can't get to it's belly , you can try and spin with the crocodile
I've heard them called death rolls, but never spirals until now.
His voice is so calming while he is talking about scary things and frightening
When I was 10 years old, I encountered a not so friendly dog at our family cabin. I was outside and two dogs appeared when I turned a corner of the alleyway. They were the neighbors' dogs, who somehow managed to escape their yard. One of them, a golden retriever, was completely harmless, but the other, a black and white dog, was displaying some aggressive behavior. I started backing up while talking to it, but it was only getting more aggressive. I did what no one should do, meaning I turned my back at it and ran (two years prior to that, I got attacked by a stray cat and spent 6 hours in the hospital, so I didn't want the dog to attack me). Of course, they both started chasing me, as I yelled for help. Luckily, my father and my grandparents heard me scream and tried to scare the dogs away. As the aggressive one was catching up to me, the golden retriever stood between me and the other dog, trying to scare it away (which worked).
Fun fact: My grandparents adopted a dog in 2020 and now every time we go to the cabin, he plays with the golden retriever.
What an awesome story
Keep that retriever in your prayers, or just keep telling people about him or her.
Wow amazing job
I remember I was about 8 or something and I was getting the mail or I was waiting by the street for my friend to come and then these 2 black dogs came outside and started walking to me and then running a little so I turned around and ran so fast they came charging at me and I was wearing a skirt 😭 but anyways my mom wouldn't open the door cuz she didn't want the dogs coming in but then she finally opened the door with me crying, I think they just wanted to play but idk now thinking of it it's kinda funny
I don't know about you but I often carry vinegar when taking a trip to the beach.
Is it weird that I do
There are beaches where they have signs and Containers with vinegar . Maybe near the life guards ? Especially during times when it's stinging season.
Every good beach should have a fish & chip shop nearby. Problem solved!
I will start now
@Big Whale did u even watch the video? Or you don't live in any such coastal areas .
Main Tip:
Don't run, stay calm.
Be strong, don't stay long.
I get why you made the joke could you deal with it the rough situation on on how to deal with a dog cuz the dog says rough
If they try to avoid stamping on stomping on things in the stampedia I'd rather lay down
Mainer man tip: get an arrow or a gun
Solution: be the camera man

For bees, stand still or if it is far away enough, slowly walk away.
For wasps, RUN INSTANTLY. Do not stand still. If you do, it will angrily sting you over and over. I survived accidentally encountering 2. I got stung once by each.
For bees just ignore them.
I've faced bees a few times and if i just keep walking away and ignore them its mostly hard they attack you.

I’ve encountered a lot of constrictors
I work at a pet shelter that specializes as a sort of nursery for baby animals and last year we got a ton of abandoned baby ball pythons and they were so cool to work with!
as i live in the woods i've done a lot of research with bears the best thing to do against blackfbears is scare them and "fight" if necessary. brown bears play dead can be a last resort but you should move backwards look at it while talking to it, at the same time throw a backpack, shirt, shoe or anything that can catch it interest against it which will buy you even more time
Thanks for this video definately going to help when I go on my vacations.
When going camping in the wild always bring a bear spray or something with a really sharp smell because most animals aren't as tolerant to smells like us. Always be aware of your surroundings and keep a satelite phone with you for emergencies. Its always better to be safe than sorry!
I love it when the OG voice comes to talk 😎. Also almost 8 million subs let's go been here since 2016.
When I saw the animation for fighting back against a polar bear and when he ran towards it all I could think of was YOLO
Haha. Exactly 😆👍
Yeah like there’s no way I’m fighting a polar bear

Agree
The subject of the video is terrifying but in some ways the animation makes it slightly funny but I have to remember the subject is scary.
Me stuck at home: Yes I totally need to watch this!
awesome video man thank you!!
I tried these tips and now writing this from the afterlife.
Lol😂❤️
😂
How u write this comment in the after life and how is the afterlife
Bruh There is going to be your afterlife should never encountered the biggest bear yet you’re too I mean three of the biggest bears yet the grizzly sloth bear and polar bear so you should avoid those three And you should be way more cautious next to a female bear than a male cause females are more likely to attack you than males so you need to stay away from females
I think it’s so important to add to avoid screaming in a high pitched voice like prey does. Sets them off just like running.
Which time stamp??
@@zindhuzanjo8813, that goes for pretty much all of the animals.
And if you have to scream, do it in a way that you appear menacing, like how a finnish dude screams at a bear and scares it
Is the crocodile have a venomous bite I was asking?

My worst wildlife encounter was with a goose. I was walking and one started hissing at me. I didn't know what it meant so I ignored it. All of a sudden, it started chasing me. I had to sprint for 5-10 minutes & and run into traffic to ditch the bird (the cars stopped when they saw what was chasing me lmao).
My other worst wildlife encounter was with a stray cat. I was about 8 years old playing in my backyard when all of a sudden, a stray cat appeared. The cat started charging me so I ran, but it latched onto my leg & clawed it. My childhood cat heard my screams & let's just say this is the only time in my life I had ever seen him get so aggressive (he went full rage mode onto the other cat). The wound was so bad it needed medical attention. I still have the scar & I'm 21.
My best wildlife encounter was with a fox. A young fox wandered into our yard last year. It came close & allowed us to pet it.
This will really help thanks a lot love your vids❤🙃
So I guess that the safest thing to do is stay in my computer chair and watch Be Amazed.
Hooray, that soothing voice is back 👏👏👏

That video of the guy who protected his dog by punching a kangaroo: 🤣
Another fact: if a big dog bites you, use your other hand to grab and push its lower jaw to open its mouth and free your arm... worked with MY dog
The tip I’ve read is to grab its collar and twist hard.
@@rogerknights857 doesn't that just strangle dogs?
@@victorpacheco8946 No, it would take at least a half minute to do that. A twisted collar allows a person to pull the dog loose and drag it away, if held high for a few seconds. It will then have lost its appetite for attacking and can be released.
PS: What I mean by the above is that twisting the collar won't kill the dog, only diminish the flow of blood to his brain and air to his lungs temporarily.
Did you sacrifice your own dog to test this?

5:53 Where I live, there are bears up in the mountains. Not just black bears, but grizzlies and huge brown bears as well. I've seen them, and I've heard tales of people who encountered them up close. I think it all depends on whether their stomach is full or not.
All you need to do when encountered a grizzly just play dead, remember if its black fight, if its brown lay down on the ground, if its white like the president you better be haven sent
Bro if you lived or termites live do you would have to on the counter the sloth bear
What if you live for polar bears live you’re a prayer for a side my guy so you need to get out of there
@Blender Study I once grew up in a part of New Jersey where the environment in back of my grandma’s house is country. Still, even today, there can be a handful of black bear encounters, the kind of bears in my area, where all people can do that I see when I’m there is coax the bear and try to drive away, hoping they’ll retreat back into the forest.
I encounter 2 black bear when fishing 3 years ago. The first one were so hungry, the bear decided to softly bite my calf and gave a claw hit on my calf. I move a bite and when in to the river. The bear then stay a shore and watch me. I took a fish, I gave to him and the bear just when away. The second one, 2 month later, at the same fishing spot, stole my fish I laid on the ground just behind me in the shade. I did not hear the bear took my 2 first trouts but I saw the black bear sprinting with my trout. Some black ear can attack you if they have the rage disease. At that time, the animal will hyper-salivate, will have difficulty to walk and run and also making roar when alone and not alone. If you get attack by that, you need to go to the hospital to have your rage virus vaccine because the virus is share with the animal saliva.
Is it rabies?

As someone whose entire career revolves around interacting with wildlife, the biggest thing I’ve learned is to respect wildlife and their space. Always understand that if you venture into their ecosystem, you are taking that risk of your safety upon yourself, as these animals have every right to protect themselves as we do. Be respectful! They are beautiful and wondrous, but they are living beings that are just trying to survive and thrive like us, and not here for our entertainment.
The hardest thing to do would be not running away😂

My father works on the Artic Slope and he has Polar Bear cages bc he works on native land so he and his co-workers can't kill them. When he got home from work he told us that he and his boss were out looking at one of the oil machines. Then he noticed movement near some big white bags. It turned out to be a polar bear hiding less than 500ft away from them covering his black nose. Thankfully a bear cage was 10ft or less away from them.
Thanks

I have found that elephants have a severe dislike for stepping on anything that may cause discomfort. They will do whatever possible to avoid risking injury to their feet.
What?
Sounds about right, because a foot injury could slow them down or even partially cripple them- - thereby, making them a target for predators!!

Something I'M Amazed by is that he didn't mention that when you're bit by a snake it helps to keep the bite site above your heart if you can. For example, if you're bit on the ankle, ideally, you'd want to lay down and elevate/prop up your ankle about a foot away from the ground.
Or if on the hand, raise your hand above your head.
16:41
Please know that the snake in this photo is a GARTER SNAKE with ONLY a MILDY venomous bite, the very worst it could do is leave a bite mark or a something comparable to a bee sting.

And they don't even most of the time. They're very docile creatures
With wolves you might also want to walk towards it it only attacks when it knows you are scared because they can’t evaluate your strength even though you are probably weaker always go to them they will think you are stronger and flee

How to survive a wild fox, visiting your garden at night:
Make "shooo" as quietly as you can - the neighbors will appreciate it - and... nothing else
Years ago, near dusk, I met a black bear at Lassen National Park. It was about 50 feet away. I just calmly raised my camera to take a photo, asking the bear to hold still. It suddenly turned around and left. No photo, but that was the end of the encounter. Most bears have no aggressive intent toward humans.
He ruined the photoshoot by moving, and you don't call that aggressive ?
That was the most passive aggressive bear I've heard of

I love your videos
Love your videos, watching this made me think of this exciting scary time I experienced with a Black Bear, True story. About 4 years ago I came very very close with a black bear. Not realizing it was coming out to feed at the dumpster area at the camp site. I was standing in the road with one of my friends sons, who's was like 6, 7 years old, I was 28 at the time. We was about 10-15 feet away from it (like if she wanted to charge it was a fu#-@** wrap lol) stood very very still, ironic little one had a stick and was like, " let's swing at it," I about freaked TF out lmfao, but knew I had to keep my composure, and slowly started walking backwards from it. Then (IDK) I started looking at it with compassion weirdly like I'm am not a threat an I have a child lol. It weirdly bowed down kinda at me and rolled over on its back like being submissive or playful for a sec (It was so cute) I stood there in awee while the neighbor campers was in total fright. Lol.. Then seconds later she flip back over and made this humming type call. I wondered what was for the noise, then hear one of the campers say, "there's cubs!" Then I believe 3 or 4 cubs came running out to momma bear. Then she like gave them kisses lolz looked back at us for a second like I have kids to lol, then led them to the dumpster. It was so amazing and watching how they was learning to dig in the garbage (thank God not me Jesus lolz) but the interaction was priceless. However now thinking about it... I am so lucky things didn't go other which I wouldn't be telling you this story today lmao SMH 🤣
It can't be me but I love his voice
I love your vids
What about Mountain Lions in northern parts of America? Really want to know how to deal with this specific threat

Throw stone on its leg, and if it doesn’t work try to cover your neck with ur hand by facing the ground.. try not to make eye contact to it.

@@Sumirevins bro actually commented to something i said a year ago bruh 💀💀💀
Can I say something? I’m a pretty fast runner and usually quick reaction time so I think I might be able to do that dog challenge
As for constrictors and pythons. I agree with the uncoiling. Breaking it's tail bone may just make it angry, also, don't wait for it to coil totally to uncoil. As soon as it starts coiling, uncoil and bend. Doing it standing will cause it to freak thinking it will fall, so it starts coiilng faster and endlessly, and guess who will tire out faster than the other one? Also, uncoiling from the tail is a great move, but beware of it's bite. They may bite and perform a death roll like a crocodile where they wrap you up faster, so avoid fighting it in water. Some of them can hold their breath for 30 minutes to an hour so you struggle, to pin it's head to force it inside water, it's neck and head are very strong, compared to the tail, because of the feeding muscles that expand, they arent eating you yet so these muscles are contracted! That drowning thingy, bro, uh uh.
I am afraid. It scares me
18:53 Something else you can do while the snake is coiling around you is put a knife between your chest and the snake. Keep the blade's edge towards the snake, as this will prevent the snake from exerting maximum pressure. There are several dozen cases where this worked.
Just don't put the wrong edge toward your chest.
If you encounter a tiger, unless you're armed with a weapon, you're pretty much screwed!
It would be advised to avoid an ambush scenario, if that happens you are almost certainly dead…it might choose to avoid putting in the effort to kill you if it cant ambush you and instead keep eye contact, maybe look intimidating but that might threaten it…I'm no expert, these are just some tips of advice i’ve picked up.
Maybe this is too long of a rant but hey…it’s not like anyone can stop me on the internet!
Love your voice 😊 pleasant to listen to

Hi! I have a question, is wearing a sun-glasses gonna help you avoid eye contact with an animal? or maybe prevent the animal from seeing your eyes?
Depending on the animal as some could easily claw it of or aggravate it but to other animals it COULD protect you eyes TIPS : try to make sure there TIGHT GLASSES and hair away so it's harder to trip as they can grab and drag into water , there mouth, THERE habitat ect
