rule of thumb for bears. If it’s brown lie down (play dead) if it’s black fight back (nose is especially sensitive area) if it’s white say good nigh (if a polar bear sees you, you don’t have a chance. do not run that is what tells a bear you are prey. as you walk through the forest, make noise. bears usually don’t actively hunt humans

A black mamba can move at 15mph and their bite is always fatal unless treated quickly, I mean like within an hour or less. They will go out of their way to bite and have been known to leap from trees on people if disturbed. Their brothers the green mamba have been known to do the same though I’m not so sure they just slip and happen to fall on you. Either way I wouldn’t want to test it.

I just watched a video of a black mamba that killed a lion and even after the lion died the mamba crawled up to it and bit four more times. Think about that. The lion took at least an hour to die and that means the mamba just watched and literally waited till it was dead to approach and bite it over and over. If that’s not the most frightening snake in world for aggression I don’t know what is.

Here is an easy way to tell if a scorpion is highly venomous or not: their front pinchers. If they are heavy like lobster claws, the scorpion uses them to crush its prey and relies less on its venom. If they are slender, like on the death stalker, the scorpion relies on its venom to subdue its prey. This doesn’t mean you should try picking up less venomous scorpions with your bare hands. The sting will still hurt.

It's a neurotoxin and can be fatal, my left arm was numb afterwards for nearly 4 days. Now every time I lay in my bed I have anxiety, I pray it never happens again. We both had tics crawling on us, my sister had a few on her and one happened to be behind one of her ears about to take a bite of her but was later removed and burned. However, as I was wearing light and dark blue striped pajama pants there was a whopping 27 tics crawling on me to which I was nicknamed the “Tic Queen”. I still wonder if tics are drawn to the color blue to this day.

Years ago I was staying on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico, sleeping in a tent outside my mom's (now ex) boyfriend's parent's house. When it came time to leave, I packed up the tent and a camel spider crawled out from under it. I'd never seen anything so creepy in my life.

I quite like snakes as they sometimes hunt spiders. Luckily for me living in the UK I haven't come across anything deadly...... yet. Been bitten by a common house spider though, that hurt but it was a common house spider. Didn't do much damage. My own fault for trying to pick it up to put it outside. It was the size of a 50p piece (with the legs involved aswell)

Camel spiders are voracious predators and amazing gladiators vs other bugs. I used to keep them as pets and make them fight other bugs as a kid. They whooped scorpions, wolf spiders, and black widows easily. They also were the most aggressive of the bunch, and they always immediately devoured whatever they killed. Those boxing glove looking arms they have in the front have sticky ends which they use to grab and pull their prey into their mouth. They can also use they sticky ends to climb walls

One bite from a mosquito makes me itch for a month. It gets to the point in where I have to apply anti-itch cream every thirty minutes. Every time I go outside, I put on a lot of mosquito spray. I have a gargantuan mosquito zapper. It still doesn't work. I am always very itchy. I also barely go outside to keep my Viking skin Viking. My ancestors were from north Europe. I am always itchy and wish it would stop.
