What about the Lancia Delta HF...?
They went through multiple variants of that car. All of the cars on the list are through one evolution.
LETS GOOOO NEW VIDEO
Been waiting for this 💯💯
Sorry for the delay! It’s been a busy time lately.
@@rallybeast quality content isn't rushed content. Take your time.👌
why did VW stop actually?
edit: nvm i found the answer: they wanted to focus on the emission scandal
Yeah its just greenwashing shit. I hate it. They pulled out of every motorsport because of this and in the end nobody cares about it that way. Its just a pity that theres another manufacturer missing.
Great video as usual
Thank you!
great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Forgot Lancia Delta Integrale, only the most successful rally car of all time…
They went through multiple variants of that car. All of the cars on the list are through one evolution.
@@rallybeast Again interesting subject. So not wishing to argue. And given sometimes it is difficult what to treat as a different Evolution.
But I was about to ask the same question as noobdoode405: Where is the Lancia Delta which should be #1 at 46 victories?
The answer you give?
Sorry, I don't agree here. As for the Citroens that is correct.
The VW Polo WRC had several evolutions. The original test car was the Polo R WRC 1.0, the first rally car the Polo R WRC 1.1. With the start of the 2015 season came the Polo R WRC 2.0 with Mikkelsen even only getting the new car from rd5 in Portugal. There were several bigger updates, gearbox, aero, weight, with VW claiming 75% of the car was new. The Polo R WRC 1.1 won 22 rallies, the 2.0 won 21.
So, yes the Lancia Delta groupA came in versions HF 4WD, integrale, integrale 16v and evo. At least the difference from the integrale to integrale 16v was only the engine, these two versions together would have won 21 rallies too.
So if you split the Delta into different evolustions, the same should be done with the Polo. Or vice versa, if you count the Polo as only one variant, then surely the Delta should be topping the list.
Other remarks: Also the 206 WRC existed in 3 evos, called the WRC Evo1, Evo2 and Evo3. The difference between Evo1 and Evo2 was so big that they couldn't even convert a 206 Evo1 chassis to an Evo2. Funny enough the 3 Evo versions won 8 WRC rallies each, accounting to 24.
The Lancia Stratos the 17 wins are correct. But the winning rate dropped soon as mentioned in the video. This was down to Fiat politics, had the Fiat 131 not arrived one can only wonder how many more WRC rallies the Stratos would have won.
Best Regards, great videos.
I just posted the same comment
Far better car than some in the video
@@rallybeast Wrong, the Stratos was used in either 24V or 12V configuration + dual plate clutch or single plate (all banned after 1978), the Delta should be in the list, it's an insult to rallying having it out.
What a video! 😍
Glad you liked it!
subaru fan here.
🙌🏻
What about the Lancia delta ingrale
6xworld championship wins from 1987 to 1992
That was multiple generations of cars.
Yaris have won 76 wrc races so far, pal. WHATT DA
The GR Yaris is a completely different car and wasn’t counted in this.
