"Absolute Criminal!" Julia Hartley-Brewer FUMES At Cass Review Into Gender Care

- TalkTV's Julia Hartley-Brewer reacts angrily to the landmark review revealing children have been let down by 'remarkably weak' evidence on medical interventions in gender care.
The independent review into gender identity services for children and young people, led by Dr Hilary Cass, was commissioned in 2020 by NHS England and NHS Improvement.
It lays out 32 recommendations on how to ensure youngsters who are confused about their gender get a standard of care that is “safe, holistic and effective”.
Julia says: "There is a special place in hell for people who abuse children like this".

Health care should never be driven by IDEOLOGY instead of science.
The question is why did this need a review ?? Anyone with common sense could tell you it was ridiculous, follow the money.
Exactly, it was always about money and medical experimentation - we don't treat similar symptoms such as BDD with validation and then brand alternative types of less invasive and attempted therapy based treatment as "conversation therapy" - that logic is essentially like saying treating depression is conversion therapy.
Now so many people will have damaged their lives irreparably and yet again it's going to be ignored for decades until future governments come grovelling
Because trans activists are constantly pointing to shonky “studies”, clownfish, and emotional blackmail, while pretending they’re following “the science”. The best counter to bad science is good science.

Yea that but also parents have been kept in the dark by schools if their child is socially transitioning and also threatened that their child will commit suicide if they to not affirm their child. Also there was even news reports that social services would remove children if their parents did not affirm their gender choices

this is why ALL people who want to transition should be screened for other neurological disorders first... because for all they know all of this 'affirmative action' could just be affirming people's mental illnesses / neurological disorders. simply affirming beliefs could have a very dangerous influence on peoples perception of the world, and if you dont challenge the persons beliefs they cant properly identify the appropriate care, and the doctor cant find or treat any underlying conditions.
We've known about this scandal for years. Shame!

My assessment of the political situation is that most Labour leadership is gender critical or gender skeptical and will stay as far away from the issue as possible during the election. But once in power they will inevitable cave to the ferocious TRA lobby. The next few years are not going to be pleasant for those of us opposed to the gender madness.
Vulnerable children were groomed into not just chemical castration using so called puberty blockers, but radically life changing, unnecessary surgery. Josef Mengele would be proud of these doctors who should be up on charges for the harm they've done a generation.
MPs should have done more…some still don’t know what a woman is…they allowed this ideology into public institutions. The donors to these activist organisations also need to have a look at themselves…just following a political ideology. Disgusting and cruel to these poor children that did not get the help they required. Gender affirmation needs to be something of the past…sick. There is nothing wrong with being gay or neurodivergent. It doesn’t mean we are in the wrong body!

Every word Julia is spot on, I normally find your habit of monopolising guest speakers who you have on and yours at times far too emotive manner incredibly annoying and rude to your invited speakers. BUT on this issue I could not agree with you more because it is the likes of people like you, we need now to stop this madness of Woke that has taken hold in schools.
Which I know so well having retrained as a teacher back in the 1980/90s from industry and the RAF who fought and failed the incredibly damaging political correctness the left-wing teachers, advisers and LEA inspectors brought in, which went onto to become Woke.
Why we need people like you, is that NOW the education system from the lowest new probationary teacher up to the highest mandarins in the DOE are very left-wing Woke fanatics and to all intents and purposes our whole education system including colleges and Universities is on par with the Vatican which is a totally independent state within Italy, plus it is run and its workers have the same mindsets that are very similar in their fanaticism that we once saw Chinese Marxist Red Guards would have been about Mao Tse Tung - totally brainwashed.
Which means even with this report and as you say, harms and damages children so much, NOTHING will be done, yes a few senior government spokes people will go on camera and come out with pointless inane statements BUT in schools, NHS and private hospitals it will continue, nothing will change!
