I’m proud my little girls would cover their ears and say stop mommy you can’t sing! Honesty is the best policy! However both my girls have beautiful voices but are to shy to share them.
I have a 11-year old granddaughter who is the best singer of the church but not to the level of these talent shows.

They all are still trying to build their acting portfolio....these "spoof auditions" are fake as hell. These shows have many levels of auditions PRIOR to actual live audience taping and audition. No way these morons would get thru those being this bad. Its the shows producers treating the audience live or at home, like your idiots. Expecting anyone with intelligence to actually believe these are REAL. Sure they're comical at times but in my opinion it takes away from the purpose of the show, finding real talent from across the world. If I was a real singer, auditioning for the show, I'd be insulted having to perform with these spoof actors on the same stage.

@@Jeff-zs5hd they are not fake auditions. You are half correct. Yes the producers advance both good singers, and bad singers to audition in front of the celebrity judges. Because it's funny. But the people auditioning aren't in on it. They actually believe they are good.

but even family sometimes doesn't have the heart to break your heart, even if its better for you in the long run. even if its better to hear it from someone you know in the privacy of your home rather than from strangers on national tv.
they may know it needs to be done but no one wants to the one to do it. Family knows them personally and knows how they would react to rejection. so instead of being the one to crush their loved one's spirit or be the who their loved one lashes out on, its easier to let them lash out to the judges. thats what they get paid for anyway and the loved one gets the message all the same. some people cant be told anything until they experience life firsthand so its better as a family member to save your breath and not get called a "hater" or to cause a rift in your relationship with them because they can't take the truth. sometimes the family is just as delusional as the person trying out so they dont see anything wrong either.
