Honestly a lot of modern coasters are better in the front row. This isn't really a launch coaster but most launch coasters I actually think are more thrilling in the front.
yeah u could argue that but with launch coasters say VelociCoaster the first inversion is way whipper at the back plus the airtime at the back. Front overrated
Yea thats literally how mack designs their hypers, those lap bars are as large as a second seat that sits on your lap for a reason. You are supposed to be able to sit comfortably and not feel like you are about to fall off, in one of those trains if you were to be hung upside down.
Hi Dan, I have just noticed that on the Thorpe park app, where the entrance will be, there are 2 huge wings, in the shape of the logo. Might this be the entrance sign?
Usually on coasters like this, now the test dummies have been around, who are the first people or literally get to go on it before public typically and guessing that will be soon?
@@BTheA-no like 20ft. BPB measure from sea lvl when coasters r normally measured from the base of the ride its only like 212 when neasured the same as othe coasters

That weird outerbanked inversion should be called an exodus roll in reference to it's codename
Personally exodus is a way better name than Hyperia
@@acidalex420 I still like hyperia but exodus is a much better name I agree
15 seconds of airtime on a ride which lasts at max a minute is crazy
Top of the drop to the brakes is about 38 seconds
Bruh, that’s half the ride is airtime
AND only lap bars
hangtime not airtime
Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point has 25 seconds of airtime
That’s like quarter of the ride lol
Try half 😅
@@HarryJSmith actually tbh, yeah lol
This is INCREDIBLE!
I love how the Brits are so excited for lap bars while here in the US if it doesn't have lap bars people hate the coaster
Yeah but you guys are spoiled by so many good rides. We have like 2 rides here that invert with lap bars
What's the other one with lap bars? I can't think of any other than this 😂

Maybe even top 1, as it’s the fastest and tallest in uk

@@Crowbar03 even if you prefer inversions the 2 inversions on this ride will both be world class

oo man, im SO gonna go all the way to thorpe park just for hyperia (its like 4 hours away)
We are gonna be floating with this one!

That's insane
Cannot wait to go
Dan still making me laugh!
I am a huge advocate for airtime!
Steel Vengeance be like : Hold my beer gotta show my 30 SECONDS OF AIRTIME
Went on it a few days ago. Insane!
Thank you for explaining what 14.8 seconds is. I was having trouble picturing it until you told us it was about 15 seconds. 👍
Had a lucky day today, went to Thorpe park and saw hyperia testing cant wait for it to be open (PS, hope you had a good day today dan)
Cedar point is saying ....thats cute.
Looking forward to it!
When I rode the velocicoaster I hit my head on the seat becuase of no shoulder bars
Going in 2 days I'm so excited
The odd angles are right from the start leaning outwards. It's pretty unique
I usually dislike the feeling that im going to fall out of my seat XD
i can’t wait to ride this
Hi Dan, I have just noticed that on the Thorpe park app, where the entrance will be, there are 2 huge wings, in the shape of the logo. Might this be the entrance sign?
NAH BUT THAT BANKED AIRTIME THINGY💪💪
Where did u get all those stats?
Nice !
It would be funny if they added the spinning seats from icons back row lol
Kinda wish it had some more theming but the coaster will make up for it
I’m used to over shoulder restraints. This will be my first time to experiencing lap bars while going through inversions when I ride Hyperia soon.
This will be my first time with inversions (not counting Galactica because that doesn’t really count)
@@MrGamerDoesVids If you can handle Galactica you can handle inversions
Wow 😄🤩🤩🤩
needed at least 2 hours but that’s decent
Which part of track is 14.8 sec???
Have they finished painting it?!
Imagine if they put a backwards facing seat on one of those trains😯
Steel Vengeance Watching this:
So that’s like a quarter of the ride!!
I SAW YOU TODAY AT THE HYPERIA ENTRANCE
Went there, ride was closed 😢 atleast saw was open tho
Kiss your seat goodbye, mabye find yourself in the lake lol😂
Steel vengeance 🥱🥱🥱
Pft that only goes 74 mph,and has a max 200 foot drop, both less than Hyperia.
@@PGAC22 30 seconds of airtime 1:30 seconds of prime ride time both more than Hyperia

Yeah and I closed after 1 day after it broke down
My husband is going to cry 😂 I’m not sending him this video 😅
Which row is less scariest
omg
it’s not 15 seconds of airtime in one go. it’s 15 seconds altogether at different points of the rollercoaster.
That's got to be near to world record
The record is almost double that long on Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point 😳
@@DigitalDan how is that even possible that is actually crazy
Steve is way longer though
Everybody should stop talking and focusing on Ford Park when they are really be focusing on Alton Towers
So basically just under half the coaster time is air time!
No design has ever made for the island before.
Air time ⭐
It says speed 81 mph
Everyone here going mental about airtime until they realise Steve at cedar point has like 30
Doing the math, that’s 12.5% of the ride time (based on the ride time stated on Wikipedia)
Gonna be way more than that if you discount the lift hill

I timed the whole thing at 44 .2 seconds
More hang time than air time.
Usually on coasters like this, now the test dummies have been around, who are the first people or literally get to go on it before public typically and guessing that will be soon?
Who doesn’t call it airtime?
The ride looks about 50 seconds long sadly
Hang time is different to air time. 14.8 seconds of hang time.
About 5 seconds of the 14.8 is hangtime, the rest will be airtime
Steel vengeance has 30 seconds and is 2.5 mins long. Hypria is like 40 seconds so more % bum out of seat 😮
Doubtful 14 seconds seems an over estimation similar with the top speed doubt itll top 80 at all
I'm sure you know better than the people that actually made it ;)
not long compared to steve
What do you mean out of your seat
Lol
Oh no not lap bars, i prefer over shoulders.
Velocicoaster has 12 minutes of airtime and it’s insanely intense, this is next level!
There’s gonna be a ride at universal studios breaking the tallest ride in the uk 360foot
We know literally nothing about that park, or if it'll even exist yet. So that just ain't true.
I think we have the world's best drop here.
This drop is no different to kingda ka or top thrill as they come over the top hat. They twisy on the way down from a higher point

Hmmm very speedy *plz pin me :)*
81 mph💀 (I was expecting hyperia to break the speed record by like 3 mph but 1 mph lol, I can see why thorpe left the speed to be revealed this late).

Stupid looking ride, only purpose of it is to be the tallest. That 'air time' is just where the ride is so slow going upside down.
