If you are tall like me (6ft 3in), want a small car and find it a problem to even to get behind the wheel of other little cars. or want to carry passengers who are also above average height, go try one of these. The all round room is amazing and the ride height is good. My wife has one and I wouldn't compare it to all the others in its class (are there any, really?).

The hybrid on the Ignis doesn't work if temps are 7C or below. They don't seem to advertise this.

Lets try to be more objective in this car review, shall we?
1. Cheap hard plastics everywhere. J -> feels vault-like
2. Lack of a 3rd rear seat. J -> you can simply sit in the middle, on the gap of 2 seats
3. Lack of rear aircon, centre arm rest. J -> air con works really well, i can fit a 1L bottle!
4. Manual, outdated hand brake. J -> a breath of fresh air among the sea of electronic brakes
5. Weak noise insulation, poor handling. J -> nobody drives this car like me, like a madman
6. >100k for this segment, lets try to appreciate this car for what it is, i took several days of driving to understand why.
Nobody has the luxury of several days to figure out what you figured, especially during a 30 min test drive. The moment they get in, press the accelerator and take a corner at speeds, it becomes painfully evident what this car is capable of.

I thought it was quite objective. He pointed out all the flaws of the car and said at the end that if you have the extra cash, then why not. It's up to viewers to decide if this is the car for them or not. Most of us will just move on. I like the Ignis because it's quirky but will obviously not fork out 100k+ for a small car like the Suzuki, esp not when COE is this high.
@@hellopanda7171 to each their own, i agree to disagree, simply having extra cash and choosing to plunk it on something inferior in value for money proposition is one of the worse possible choices to spend it.
Based on the spectrum, there are infact more better choices than worse choices out there to spend your extra dough.
But hey, who am i to judge? Not everyone has spare 100k to decide to throw it on a ignis 😎
After a while, CM will take this car off their line up. Giving it one year the most. If were to get a Suzuki, I’d rather get the Suzy instead.

My previous car was 31 years old. So definitely an upgrade from what I was used to. To me they seem quite fine. I've been in more expensive cars, I didn't see that much of a quality difference plastic-wise.

Didn't even notice that. If you fit, you sit. And there is space there so it is fine.

Didn't even know this was a thing. It is not needed anyway, the 2023 edition of the car is very well insulated.

I do not miss that either since it allows the back seats to be more flexible in terms of providing more space for storage.

Perfect for oldheads like me. If it was a new kind I'd be disappointed. Believe me my main gripe with the car is that the full version had a "start engine button" instead of an ignition with the key like the cheaper versions.

Noise and heat insulation has been improved. I have not noticed poor handling. The engine noise is a non-factor since I bought the manual gearbox version. :)
So far it is doing 5.2L/km. It is cozy, I can take it to the countryside, I can take in the city and I can drive it in the highway. Cheapest AWD car in the market here, so I am a very happy customer.

Cheap parts and hydraulic rappers keep running costs down. Just traded 10 year old Alto and am expecting the same reliability and economy.

Why would I get this for the price over the Kia stonic mhybrid?
If space is a concern as it is a little more roomy for the passengers than the Stonic.

Why does this car even exist? Too small to be really practical, and too bulky/slow to be sporty. Looks borderline ugly tbh. For the price there are better alternatives, e.g. Elantra if you are ok with sedan, or Venue if you must have SUV.
It seems suzuki is trying to do some catching up on the world of crossover suvs?? Besides the grand vitara, i don't even remember what's the last suv they came out with.

Unusual,, unique, quirky, and that's why this car is not as boring as those mainstream, conventional-looking city cars to which you are quite into.

because it is cheap and runs without much fuel and in some places you do not even pay taxes for it, due to its low emissions. A soild car.
