- RIAC Senior Videographer Matthew Peake says it best, "Smith and Wesson has been at the forefront of gun making since the 1850s." Today he has selected four very collectible Smith and Wesson revolvers from our upcoming February S&C Auction that show perfectly the S&W's ability to innovate and thrive in the revolver market.

Best presenter from RIA.
I enjoy black/plastic guns but these are the types of firearms that make my blood run fast. I own many S&W and Colts (early and modern) and shoot them regularly. My son (now adult) once told me following a shooting session, "Daddy, you know something, there's just something neat about the older guns." Good for my boy. If he could own just one handgun I think he would select his S&W Model 19. Sure wish S&W and Colt could be on the forefront of production of these types again. But in this day & age, they would probably cost as much as a dozen eggs. Thanks for creating videos like this for us dreamers.
It's nice to see different Rock Island employees previewing their fine items for their auctions. All your videos are informative and well done!...keep 'em comin'!
Hello!NEVER met a S&W revolver I didn’t love!nice stuff!
I heard the Triple Lock is great for taking out flashy swordsmen, especially when you are down with sickness, such as dysentery.
The legend Matthew Peake is finally in FRONT of the camera. About dang time.

Beautiful beautiful guns. Appreciate the video.
"I carry a 320"

George S. Patton had his own S&W Registered Magnum, which he referred to as his "killing gun".
The Registered Magnum would later become the Model 27.
